Basically the thread title. Which of the variants newly available for C-bills are worth it?
I primarily play IS mechs (apart from my cutefox, all the love for the cutefox), so I'm kind of clueless here. Bought the TBR-D and IFR-D for cashmoneys when that was a thing (had builds in my head for those), now wondering what to add to my stable.

The Direwolf is legit. The Ice Ferret is not.

Well this I know, it's an Ice Ferret. But I have a strange fondness for them, so more energy hardpoints are always welcome. I shall look into jumping whale builds. Any suggestions? I saw a Direwolf jumping the other day. Laughed harder than I have in a very long time.

More like a floating whale. Any standard DW build will work.

Personally speaking , I think your choice for the Ice Ferret is A-Okay.
Since I love my Cicadas , there is nothing wrong with a 140KM/h Clan medium.
I am pretty consistent with following our Lights around and 'tanking' for them while they chew up stragglers.
Now, onto the actual topic at hand.
If you are looking for right here, right now Mechs there are two good options.
Hellbringer - ECM Heavy, lots of loadout options, solid Hitboxes this can really bring the pain depending on how you load it
Stormcrow - Broken (in a good way) hitboxes means you can absorb a LOT of incomming fire while remaining viable, good builds out there for it. Fast to boot.
They would be on my top list to purchase if I didn't already own them.

I would get the other two Timberwolfs first. Once they were Mastered, I'd start worrying about another chassis.
