Strengths and weaknesses... IMO atlas needs to be tougher.
We can deal with the HP locations by driving the mech correctly.

But while were at it...

Maybe we can get a new variant and call it the Hunchlas.

It's okay to dream. :(

Being that they cant change the A-1 Im thinking no

A change like that would ruin the character of the 'mech and a basic design feature it's had for over 30 years. It's a big reason why I hated the Atlas design in MWT.

God the Stalker lol

It looked pre exploded. Whatever happened to MWT anyways?

Yes. Raising any weapon hardpoint on a mech to be closer to, or above the cockpit would increase a mech's viability.

MWT died. It went through different developers with barely any progress. The last devs got laid off and IGP didn't bother telling anyone that nobody is developing the game anymore (even though they were still taking money for Founder packs). Then they declared bankruptcy

MWT is now floating in a limbo, chances of someone picking up rights for it and reviving it are basically nil.
Quite depressing, honestly. I really liked it (apart from the aesthetics, and even then, i did like some of the mech designs like the Dragon and the Jenner, mostly), shame we won't be getting a 3D virtual Battletech game anytime soon. Or ever.

It exploded and died. IGP got to keep all the founder's money (at least from people who didn't get it refunded before the death).

The problem is that it would just be another Gauss sniper or ridge-humper.

That would be OK with me, because then I would like..play it...sometimes...instead of "never" like right now.

I think the non-DDCs should have gotten big armor quirks.

To contrast the survivability vs firepower of the Dire Wolves

Yes it would because a high mounted hardpoint is always a better thing.

But the atlas without his should bag AC would not really be a atlas anymore.
