I like the gloss.

I think PGI should add that sort of thing as an extra channel. Gloss, matte, battle scarred etc.

That's the sort of thing I'd spend money on.

I don't wont gloss, but if PGI gave the option for gloss or no gloss that would be cool.

LOL I think its funny that the word metallic, glossy and camouflage are even used together. I guess I would consider most of these simply paint jobs and nothing resembling camoflage. So good on anyone with the dull greys, greens and browns. Wish the shiny mechs actually reflected light at long distance like they do at short distance, that would be nice and realistic for anyone that wants to bring a shiny, bright, multicolored target to the fight. Also just thought about how chrome or high gloss paint reflects radar better.

Maybe add quirks that allow them to be picked up at longer ranges, or identified faster? Funny trade for bringing a parade paint job to the warzone? Ah, kidding, but just a game. Guess it doesn't matter anyway since you can only see the back even in third person and most people don't use that anyway.

And give all red mechs 15% more speed.

Actually, I consider the Clan Jade Falcon and Clan Wolf Camo schemes are closer to parade colors than actual camo.
I still think that Clan Ghost Bear and Clan Smoke Jag still have better patterns. I mean come on think of the cheetah patterns you could do. Even a snow leopard camo would be cool. A gloss metallic look to either the Clan Bear and Clan Jag camos would really ruin them.

I would like to see future tints and sheens out for other mechs though; it's a really cool effect.

If you happen to be eluding at 40k orks, you would have to throw in a black exhaust plume and a breakdown test.

Eh, baneblades are slow anyway. Orks actually get that red paint job that makes them faster, rule wise anyway. Even though its pretty pathetic for all the time they talk about it, a whole 8.3% faster on average. Guess that would be funny.

i understand why it's pin.. red, but why did the orcs draw a pretty heart on it... oh, i'm silly, it symbolizes the hearts which they will tear from the chest of their enemies

i think all the clan camo's should be shiny and glow-in-the-dark.. makes them all-so-much better a target.. especially the head, that should glow extra bright.

-trollface-

Only over the cockpit hitbox. Maybe a nice sheen to the side torsos as well?
