Molossian Dog,
True, you cannot teach much during a fight, but you CAN lead (as I said).
You LEAD at the beginning of a match, although it is very true that you can choose not to lead if you do not want to. Some will not follow anyway, but those are the new players that do not WANT to learn, so they would be unteachable anyway.
It should be PGI's job.
They have not done it.
You can choose to be part of the problem, or part of the solution.
I do not care what you choose to do either way.
But if you choose not to lead, you forfeit the right to whine about losing.
Just my opinion.

Sure, you do what you can.
But nobody can do the same explaining/leading/carrying and in game cat herding game after game. Day after day.
I don´t blame anyone getting fed up with it and expressing his frustration.
It is beyond unthankful.
What I tried to emphasize in my last post:
It is completely unneccessary. There would be solutions.

I agree with both of your statements... THE issue is.. the confusing concept of it it being called whining...
If it was my fault then.... fine I take it on the CHIN however, this is us telling a FACT not an opinion about an issue in the game that PGI needs to address prior to the STEAM launch.. (Holy crap imagine that mess incoming). I think they should make newer players play with each other based on time... not 7 drops or whatever that they could just sit there and be part of.
Time in grade, time in service prior to joining some of the normal open drops. CALL ME CRAZY... asking PGI to let them learn more before both sides end up quitting.
I would not be suprised that PGI has lost 5% of a playerbase due to this. --- last I checked 5 is greater then 0 so no matter what the loss is there has to be a gain in keeping people educated and happy somewhat. I know it is a numbers game and I know they may not care but sooner or later something has got to give and I sure as **** hope Russ sees that.

Always found it best to try to support people doing the right things though my own actions rather then looking for the caps loc button so I can tell teammates what they are doing wrong and why they are bad.
Doesn't always work but does seem to be fairly reliable.

is normal? this is whn randomness is giving you 8 teammates that either felt asleep in the aiting queue or never touched a mech in their live before.
This is a excellent example. The enemy teams stats are quite mediocre if you cancel out the WVR-6K and the KGC.
For some reason your team's assault lance failed to play their cards. I cannot say why, but a simple coordinated light rush and an assault lance that is left for their own by the team and is distracted by lights can already give you a 0:12 stomp in PUG games. However, this is not the fault of some single player scoring low but simply complete team failure.
For example, some days ago I had a match where I protected a dual gauss dire wolf in my team with my GRF-2N. Nobody else cared about the slow Direwolf, everything immediately rushed forward into the enemy leaving the direwolf behind.
Giving him ECM cover he could at least snipe for some time until the enemy light lance consisting of 3 firestarters and 1 Nova got us. No chance with a direwolf and a SRM brawler against overquirked 3x 8 SPL squirrels. I did like 150 damage (mostly to the nova) before they killed us. My team lost I think 1:12. Some people sure had higher score then me.
On the other hand, with another mech (5x C-SSRM6 SRC), I could had even the chance to successfully defend the direwolf.
So, did I play bad because I was the only one in my team take care for the assault? I could have left the direwolf and do some more damage on the battle front for sure. The team had lost anyway because abandon 100 ton of your team's firepower behind is never a clever strategy.

It should be!

Should be, yes, but not a guarantee.
Each leg is 48 IS+A (which...is the same as a Jenner).
If you focus a ST, of course less. When something is moving that fast, it's hard to get lasers for a full burn on a single ST.
