Clans are winning because they have fewer people. That is, the ratio of Random Pug Players to Players In Units is MUCH different on the Clan side. A much larger percentage of the Clan players are experienced players in organized units. So, Clan side gets more Organized Unit vs. Random Puggies matches.
Also, we're just more awesome than you. But mostly the first thing.

So yeah, not really funny. And if you get into a match, most likely you stumble upon an organised clan 10-12 drop. Eh, I think enough of CW for now. I am going back to the other game modes.

No, it's not showing your place in the queue. It's the territory you're queued to fight over. That number has no relation to how long you have to wait.
It changes when someone leaves because when you have <12 players in your group, you're not assigned to a territory to fight over. Then when you get another player, you're assigned a new territory.
This could actually result in a shorter wait - although it could be a longer wait, or roughly the same wait. But it's NOT queue position.

I hope PGI gives us stats after the event, including number of attacks that last less than 5 minutes.

It's bad enough for normal PUG games but wish they focused on fixing bugs instead of trying to add more content. EDIT: Also before you get defensive PGI and state: Oh it's your PC, your ISP, etc, I can safely assure you that I've never gotten dc'ed as much as this game and I've gotten a lot more hours logged on other games. I've gotten dc'ed from MWO at least 5x as much as the next game with about 1/5-1/10 hours in if I were to guess.
