whats a mech worth anyway, 10-15m cbills?

If I spend the time required for this event (some 40 odd hours with the queues and stuff) in regular matches that would be about 300 matches. 300 matches at about 150k cbills average is 45m cbills. I mean, I could just do regular matches for one day and buy the mech normally (not fussed about exp bonus) so um yeah.

As far as the whole place in queue thing goes... there's the generic screen that tells you jack, and there's this screen, which specifies where you are in the queue.

******* this.Seriously, it's not even worth taking advantage of the sales. I've cleaning at working between matches though, so there's that.

Maybe for the next cw event like this we can get a point for every 80 match points(160 match score = 2 event points). Would make people want to do better to lessen the grind.

I would love to do this event. But I wait in the queue (solo) and everytime I get within 12 people I get kicked back to 30. I have been waiting for 30mins jut for 1 match.

I have tried the LRG system but nothing is coming up.

This is coting me Premium Time I have been saving since the last event!

Have you played since the last patch? They changed some of the programming... the repair tool HAS to download the ENTIRE game again, all 7 gigs of it... so, kick on the repair tool, and go to sleep. Come back tomorrow morning, and you should be good.

I think PGI needs to adjust the numbers for IS players. I got 6 matches in 5 hours, while a clanner will get >10 matches in the same period. The normal IS pug is even worse off because of the long queue and 10min timer.

In other words: if you're in the clan you'll hit 50 points in ~25 hours; if you run IS it will take over 40 hours.

Yep, just gotta run the repair tool and let it do it's course... it will re-download the entire game. We all had to do it... Just unfortunate timing for you to realize it... The game will run, and some aspects will work without it, but it's random.

these waits are atrocious, staying in queue for up to ten minutes to get to 5th in queue only to be bumped back to the end of the queue is just beyond ridiculous.

Thought I'd try it, but this just sucks.

30 minute wait to drop means I've been in two matches in two hours. Both were against 12 man drops, who dropship camped.

While I'd love to participate in THE defining battle in BattleTech lore, I'm pretty sure it's not worth it.
