I'm kinda looking forward to it ending, to be honest. I have 14 competition points and the tedium of going for 20 would far outweigh the reward for doing so.
(I could just go PUG, I know. But I owe it to my team to help them keep dropping with them in CW with enough critical mass to win matches.)

Wouldn't say no.
Bit stupid they put it on ANZAC weekend so a day is instantly off the calendar. Averaging 45-60 minutes a game, taking into account wait times (10-15 min), game time (30 min) and organisation/toilet breaks (cause were not all robots). So 35 games, that's 35 hours of play.
With another 5 to go for the mech, 10 for the 5-Million. 50hrs. Jesus. I might as well cryogenically freeze myself for a weekend before coming back to reality...

Using the LFG tool and dropping with a group of 12 does significantly reduce queue times. Being alone or with one/two friends took more than 30 min (mostly ~45 min), in a 12 man it's 5-15 min.
This tool is a really great addition.
But I still won't get to 40 points without an extension. I got into 25 games between Friday and Sunday evening. Would've been at least 35-40 w/o the waiting.

There's a big problem with this while i voted yes to extend the event (so i can actually have a go at it) it's effectively rendered CW a no go zone unless you have many many hours to kill which contrary to PGI's belief many of us don't (This is an old game lore and many of us are an older generation so have busy lives and commitments we're not your usual typical teenage gamer).
Really the CW event should be in the test client and completely separate from the game so we can still go about our daily CW/PUG/Group drops but then that would of required extra investment and forethought on PGI's side..............We all know that won't happen.
The whole event has been very badly planned in my opinion.
