[Crunch Troll]

Crunch is currently with Smoke Jaguar with the unit Derp. However, he is strongly considering changing clan affiliation to Ghost Bear.

Crunch is a long time player of Mechwarrior (early 90's, tabletop & computer). He has returned to MWO after a 3 month break (and a long hiatus prior to that). As such, he is getting Mech legs back and is looking to improve.

Crunch is looking for a competitive unit also out to have some fun. He prefers an organized unit (tactics, comms, etc) over a mainly casual unit or the chaos of a pug (though they can be fun and interesting). He is also looking for a unit that provides feedback to its' members (so he can improve) and accepts feedback as well. He finds he does well in support roles (ASM, recce, fire support, etc). He needs work on close range combat.

Crunch is available most weekday evenings after 22h30-23h00 til 03h00 CST (UTC/GMT -06h00/-07h00 during daylight savings) and weekends most anytime. He has already broken contract with Smoke Jaguar and is available to join a new unit immediately.

(Yes, Crunch knows he is referring to himself in the 3rd person. He does not do that when speaking, just writing. Deal with it.)

We are a casual, yet serious group, we're not tryhards but we always play to win, and we usually have a lot of members online during the evening, members that you can learn from.

there's the German Clan Ghost Bears and Russian Clan Ghost Bears. Other than them, it's a long shot in finding a good EU Clan Ghost Bear unit.

That's a shame I was going to ask the same question, I keep joining american guilds in other games but the time difference just becomes to much, so now I'm going EU focused.

CGBI has a 40+ Europe based cluster. So there are other options, but GCGB is a good choice as well.

As much as Crunch would have liked to go with GCGB, his German is way out of practice and barely functional these days. That will teach him for not using it more.

Does CGBI actually do community warfare? Thats been the biggest stopping point for me inquiring about you guys, you're never around in CW. Don't see planets with your name by them or in pug drops except for a few here and there solo. Sure you seem to be a big unit numbers wise but the lack of presence in CW doesn't help. If i saw you guys dropping every night and making progress on the map i'd want to join you quickly.

We do CW drops fairly regularly (we have some dropping right now. Might join them. I'm in the mood ).

However the Unit has not at all misled anyone from the fact that while we are gearing towards CW, at this time we aren't overly concerned with the map. It's beta and the unit is still hashing itself out internally. Cart can't go before the horse. That's just backwards

Just saying maybe you should be concerned with the map. More people might be interested in CGBI if you had presence. There's at least 1 person not interested because of your lack there of.
