Hey, maybe you could even get a group of friends all in the blackest paint you can find. You could make a clan out of it. Not sure what you'd name it, though.

I also think the whole color filtering in MWO needs to get a rework. As soon as a mech ist 150 metres away you can not tell its camo nor its color. Really annoying to people who want to sport distinctive parade patterns to be seen, or appropriate camo to be less visible. Right now it is pretty useless.

Also I strongly dislike glossy mechs. There should be a more matt finish to warmachines. No sane person put would use glossy colors for camouflage.

So maybe when doing a rework on color filters and camo options PGI should also add a switch for matt or glossy finish.

I prefer the "Camo" colors. They're usually matte and just look really cool. Currently using Camo light gray, which is basically the "poor man's white paint", but it looks really good.

Hot Rod black is the darkest of all the black paint I have.

As you can see, on medium texture quality, there is barely any difference between the first four, with Resistance having a very slight reddish tone mixed in. Camo is a bit lighter than the rest, though.

The black in the wall behind the Raven is clearly the darkest black
