Even if we go with your more generous calculation of (having to join a unit, which I have no interest in currently) 15 minute wait times, that still makes if 45 mintues for a game. I would only require 40 hours of game play instead of 50 to actually complete the personal challenges. 40 hours instead of 50...out of a 190 hour tournament. Ya who needs to eat, sleep, work or take care of kids and family?

You are playing a team game but have no interest in joining a team. You want all the rewards of grinding but aren't willing to prioritize that work (thereby making it NOT grinding). You want all of the benefit without having to put in all of the work... and people wonder why I constantly rail against giving trophies to kids in last place. This is exactly the kind of adults it leads to.

It's perfectly possible to grind while being solop. Are you saying that the members in a 12 man who plays 20 hours have put done more work than someone who has played 40 hours solo and 20 of them consisted of staring at a loading screen?

No. I'm saying that there are MULTIPLE fallacies to his logic. The onus for his success is on him, not the game.

Could be worse, OP.

I've had the flu for the entire event. Was only able to get a few games in on the weekend and I've felt like crap ever since. All I've gotten is the consumables pack.

I admit, I did the 50 points challenge too.

Mostly cause me a couple other guys from our unit had nothing better to do the last couple days and just played all day long, the wait times were not existent clanside so that made it much easier.

We had a blast, the highlight games being when our two or four man could wrangle the puddies into victory against 10-12 mans, only happened a couple times but even so.

The worst was getting spawn camped in the first 10 mins of the game to death by 12 mans, only happened twice at least out of 50 games.

The biggest problem I saw with pubbies in CW queue is they're too timid by far, several games we could have won handily but the pugs just decided to sit outside the gate and use their lrms and blue lasers to trade while taking eleven billion IS blue lasers to the face while we uselessly shout at folks over chat to push.

It's finally Ogre though, back to the regular queue for ever.

Also God DAMN, a good 70% of all of my 50 drops were on goddamn Hellbore Springs, I got VERY sick of that map near the end.

Confirmed: This event is soo bad it will make you physically ill. Only affects IS players though. Clanners have noted that the event has given their hair more body, cleared up their complexions and regulated their bowels.

How do you get your mech on this challenge? I have qualified, but don't see where the select the one I want.

I have played with pgs only, all the 50 games.
We had premades vs us, even strong ones.

The only issue I really didn't liked is the spawncamping. And the simple fix for this i either dynamic droplcations, or a more isolated droparea. The current issue with spawn camping is that most spawns are next to the objectives, making it nearly impossible for attckers not to spawn camp even unintended.

and yes emchdiversity, is a bit annoying, TD's and stalkers and firestarters eveywhere. a few BJ's jagers and ravens, grasshoppers, Dragons. But past that, nearly nothing.
and clanside hardly looks different.

@Quantum my majority was sulforous, would have traed that instant for your hellbore.

I think only 2 matches happened where sulf was not the "alpha gate only" tactic. I nearly frgot after a while there are even 2 other entrances.

You think my logic is flawed? By your logic you can only grind if you are part of a team. Ya, solid logic.

I got my mech. It took my 40 hours of grind. I did so without being in a unit.
