I think the stats are fubar. I have a couple mechs that I know are inaccurate as well.

You didn't think it odd that you apparently played 55 matches without any weapons on your A1? ;)

The stats are a joke. They really need to be revamped. I have a ton of spreadsheets, both for myself and for my unit, that use these stats, and it's disappointing how inaccurate they tend to be.

Stats are broken for a long time now - first noticed it even before the stats reset - after the reset it was broken as well. Nothing new at least for me..

Do the stats differentiate between LRM and Artemis LRM?

Ever hear of that thing called folks call "HitReg Issues"? If you pull the trigger, that gets recorded. If your damage never registers, how can it be added to the stats sheet?

It is a paradoxical conundrum really. Sorta like ELO scores. So many folks love to base their personal E-Peen level vs Everyone else off of some "numerical value" that they do not know or can't even compute themselves? But ELO based E-Peen rhetoric definitely exists right? ;)

So why would anyone ever sweat some "numbers" that may also have some built in error value, by default?

Stats are inaccurate, three days after the stupid bog map it said I had played on it 103 times! I played on it 5. Check your map stats, they seem to be more out of whack than the mech ones.

Take a look at your own stats. You'll find plenty of weapons that have damages that are way higher than plausible given the shots fired, and you'll find damage and accuracies for weapons that have zero registered matches equipped. It has nothing to do with hitreg. I don't what the underlying problem is, but it's definitely a mess.

Why sweat over the stats though? Because believe it or not they're still a relatively consistent gauge of skill level. Your overall weapon accuracy correlates almost perfectly with your W/L ratio, K/D ratio, and K/M ratio. I have a spreadsheet that shows this rather convincingly, if you're interested.

Sorry. You make it sound like those numbers will get you more money on your next Pro MWO Gaming Contract or something. It is a Video Game ffs. I gauge my skill level per Match. If I help the Team Win, I did good. If I don't really help and they still Win, then I was a non factor. If I suck and we Lose, then my bad, sorry to the group and move on.

You keep after that Spreadsheet though. Some day it may be something you can tell your grandchildren about. They will surely be enthralled by the tales of awesomeness that "Spreadsheet" represents. LOL ;)

P.S. I just checked. I am so good at MWO, I am going to go tell my Boss to "go **** himself" as I don't need a real life. I will live in a fantasy video game world and hope the wife doesn't find out what I told the Boss any time soon.

It will be all about the Stats then baby. ;)

How does HSR affect the number of wins and losses compared to the number of games played?

Almond, I have 5 bosses 6 if you count the guy running the whole building. I have told half of my bosses to take a long walk. it takes 3 things. Holding the moral high ground, and second, good Union representation and finally a good grasp of alternative words.

The mechs stats page is pretty accurate.

Disconnects don't always count as a loss or win. I've seen it happen, and I monitor that page often.
