No, it's the Awesome. It does not deserve the name. ;)

Am I the only one here who's happy with my Awesome the way it is right now? :blink: (admittedly it's the 9M, though, so meh)

Catapult. Hands down...
* Reduced torso rate
* Terrible hard point geometry (those ears for A1, crap barrels for K2)
* Oversized model
* Mediocre quirks (good PPC quirks for K2? NOPE!)
* Terrible CT hitbox
I know there is more I can't think of at the moment.

I have no problem with my Founder's Cat...my god, if you made my Catapult smaller, lololol

The cooldown quirks it gets for LRM15s are so strong that I switched from cooldown module to range module, because cooldown felt totally unecessary - it was wasting ammunition faster more than it was effectively helping me out (and it made heat management more difficult). Now I enjoy launching LRMs earlier than normal and seeing enemies jump in surprise when the LRMs keep coming & hit them past 1000m. B)

"terrible" CT box? It's the same nose that the Timberwolf gets, the Timberwolf just has side-torso ears & dangly arms. I quite like being able to take an XL engine and not worry as much, honestly.

I will admit, the VCR boxes on the A1 need to die - I'd rather have the 'old' Catapult ears, where the box simply enlarged or got smaller according to how many missiles were mounted. The K2 ears should also look more intimidating (though at the same time, move the ballistic hardpoints to the CT for god's sake. K2 should not be running big-ballistics builds unless it's mounted up in the ears!)

Anything with LRMs being that LRMs are the most nerfed thing in the game

I would like to propose: The Flea.

A 'mech designed and shown off as the 18th mech for MWO.

Now more than 40 mechs later... it's still not in the game.

PGI has considered "other ventures" or "lost interest in making it" or so some users on the forum have claimed.

And yes the Nova feels right as a large stompy robot. ^_^

Looks like we have a winner. (The sad, sad winner of losers.)

PS. Make Adder, Kit Fox smaller!

After my futile attempts at grinding out my Jenners, i can definitely say PGI hates The Jenner.

I don't think there's anything less fun in this game than playing one.
Let's compare it to another jump-capable 35 ton mech - Firestarter:
Jenner has absolutely dreadful hitboxes (EASILY the worst hitboxes in the entire game, no joke) - Firestarter has the EASILY best hitboxes in the game
Jenner has LESS hardpoints than the Firestarter (Jenner has 5-6 hardpoints as opposed to Firestarter's 7-8)
Jenner even has less quirks than the Firestarter. (Jenner D gets 7.5% missile cooldown, F gets 7.5% energy range; Firestarter S gets 15%+15% on Medium laser heat get, A gets 7.5%+7.5% Slas Range AND gets 10% heat gen quirk?!)

Seriously?!
It's the only mech i regret ever buying just because i liked the way it looked.

I think i'll grind through it, master it and sell it to forger i ever ******* bought them. (I'd sell them right away, but i'm bloody OCD about unfinished ****)

I do think the Jenner could use some hitbox love, that entire CT nose could very reasonably be split into side torso sections - like what they did with the Stormcrow.

Remember the days that the Catapult had a 140 degree torso twist?

168 degrees of torso twist with Twist X was awesome... Pepperidge Farm This Open Beta Vet Remembers.
