They weren't complaining about the Thunderbolt's nonexistent third high mount for ERPPCS (it has two high hardpoints; the others are in the mid-level torso.) They were complaining about its amazing heat efficiency - efficiency that not only let it put out firepower entirely disproportionate to its size, but also made it possible to brawl effectively with ERPPCs. I think they nerfed it a bit too much, but let's be real about what actually occurred.

PS: I'm a mercenary and I move around - At the time of this post (or this edit) I do not own any Clan Battlemechs.
