Yes increasing ammo per ton (again) for ammo based weapons for CW only would help ... blunt as it is.

Also cUACs need improving, reduce a bit the bullet and make CDs start as soon as you pull the trigger (that or reduce the cool down to compensate for the extended firing time).

Isle-solutions like that are about the worst thing you can do.

Imagine where that would lead:
"Yeah, you see, if the game mode is this and that and this mech for that faction without a unit, you get a +10% bonus to this, that and that and that goody and this stuff, but not the other one, because that is for other modes."

Total inconsistent, senseless chaos.

Such short-sighted (no offense) solutions are ALWAYS are disaster.


A more proper solution would be to introduce some kind of ammo resupply mechanism. Has even been discussed in a townhall session already.
Or maybe increase ammo capacity in general. Or make consumable ammo packs similar to cool shots.

Sure, put that in line after "Timbers need to get nerfed".

Getting sick of most Clanners crying IS mechs needing nerfs when your clan mechs are just as guilty (if not more). Next time you want to suggest an IS mech nerf, think of what nerf Timby, Scrows, and Hellbringers need to get to justify the IS nerfing. Otherwise STFU.

CW is a long (4 lives) game mode.
If you run out of ammo you effectively lose a life.
Lasers don't have ammo, thus you can't lose lose a life by running out of ammo.

Oh wait!

The splash screen during the game startup is too loud. It needs to be quieter!

We have not seen to many MGs or to many Flamers to my memory.

Ballistics are useless when they run out of ammo forcing you to eject.

Ammo refills could be helpful.
Perhaps a consumable which makes a dropship drop an ammo case and you stand on it to get a reload.

That is the major issue with AC's in CW. I love my AC's in Puglandia, nothing says I love you like large caliber armor shredding dakka to the face, but in CW, it has no staying power. I want all 4 of my mechs to be a useful as can be for as long as can be, especially if I can keep from having weapons blown off, thus laser light show. There are more mechs, with more laser hardpoint, in diverse locations. So even if I have an arm blown off or one torso, I still have a good amount of weapons and am a danger on the field of battle. With the Dakka, it is so much of your tonnage, everyshot needs to count and you need protect the one location they are in. Just look at the Yenlo - while it can wreck face, if you take that arm off, you can ignore it for the most part, it is no longer that dangerous that it is at all a priority target.

as for CW ammo main issue give just 2.5 of basic ammo will fix this.

People have been touting the "anti infantry bro!" argument against MGs and Flamers since the beginning of time, so those have been complained about. Also, there are some rare people who actually did think MGs were too strong...lol.

I think the only weapon that hasn't been called OP to date is the LB-X family. Maybe TAG.
