A quick search for 'axeman' just in the suggestions forum turns up 20 results, with another topic specifically asking for the Axeman mech and eight separate topics about how that particular forum member has solved melee combat. A search for 'hatchetman' brings up 114 results. Every one of these threads has some who bothered to use search and/or read the Dev blogs pointing out that yes the Devs have said they want to do melee combat, but no it won't be at launch. It's a pretty safe bet we'll know when it's ready to go by the announcement "Mech 36: Hatchetman"

Search function = broken please stop your needless griping. if you have seen it before the solution is. Don't look and let the devs take care of it. all your doing is making people feel bad for contributing. so stop playing hall monitor and let the moderator do his job that he is payed to do. also if your interested in melee mechs. here is a thread i started to get the ball rolling http://mwomercs.com/...34#entry488734. Trying to combine threads so that A. the devs might take this seriously and B people like above quoted forum posters don't break their keyboards in rage over someones slight oversite

Hi, you might have missed it since it's hidden away stickied at the top of every forum section, but you might find the Dev's guide on Posting Etiquette helpful.

So you don't even have to go to the trouble of following that link, let me snip a quote for you:

This does not equal 'make more threads to show the devs we're serious'. Search isn't broken and even if it was I don't remember 'oh but it was too difficult to inconvenient to follow the rules' being a valid defence in any jurisdiction.

Stop spamming. Use search.
