Youre in CW and the rest of the team is dead (or youre a lance or two down) and the rest of the enemy team still have either their first or second mechs?

This is supposed to be a team game, and if you actually get yourself a team, it can he. But if you're solo pugging, either in the regular Q or CW, then I just try to do the best I can. Hoping to succeed with bad pugs is a good way to be constantly diappointed.

What do you do when the rest of the team is dead - so you cant use them as fodder - etc

That seems to happen especially when challenges are ongoing. Not going to make your point requirement? Bail and start a new match.

It's not right, you should stay to the end, but events are timed and CW can have long wait times.

I personally wouldn't intentionally DC, but others who are focused on the challenge don't necessarily share that level of sportsmanship.

Well by the time all those mechs are dead there is nothing else to be done. Probably already done +2000dmg and carried as hard as I could. Just go back to mechlab and reroll the pug lottery.

Doh, my apologies.

I ask the dropship pilot to change course and drop me off in Hawaii.
He never does though, so I end up doing the best I can. Focus on the most damaged enemy I can and try to take one down with me.

Pretty much what Joseph said, go out in a blaze of glory..or die trying.

I've had NO luck getting any Clan players to accept a Batchall or a challenge for single combat to date, and I've tried many many times. Had 1 Clan player accept but his TEAM fired on me the moment they saw me, so much for the vaunted Clan Honor.

At least Shadow Rat Marauders, pirates and mercs that we are, keep our word.

Excellent question, and to date, I have not heard of a single instance of this happening.
