What if they made a seperate part of this forum where they put up mech feedback threads with polls next?
One thread for each mech in MWO whether it's clan or IS.
It could be our chance to get our favorite mechs to be all they can be without becoming overpowered monsters.
In these threads they give us polls but we cannot post anything since reading through all that feedback would take the dev's forever.
We can only vote on the questions they ask regarding the mech the thread has been made for.
Because they themselves ask the questions they got control on the thread.
They could also reward us for voting in all the mech feedback threads.
How about a incockpit item such as notepad like you see fighterpilots and astronauts use?
Or they could just strongly encourage us to provide feedback.
Let's make an example right here with the Awesome.
Remember that not only will they receive feedback from Awesome users, but also those who regularly fight them.
Question 1. Does the awesome have problems with it's hitboxes?
Answer 1: No.
Answer 2: Yes. Side torso's are too big.
Answer 3: The legs are too fat.
Answer 4: Blah blah.
They ask a bunch of questions about the mechs quirks on all the variants.
About it's weapon hardpoint locations. Etc. All kinds of questions.
After 1-2 months of this feedback they will have confirmed that a lot of players think the sidetorso's are too big.
Then they put out a call for us to provide feedback in a new Awesome feedback thread where we will vote on new side torso hitboxes.
We get presented with a drawing of the current hitboxes and several alternatives for how they can change the Awesome.
We vote on which new hitboxes we want for the Awesome.
Some of the new alternatives would be less wide but be slightly taller or otherwise changed.
The weapon slot locations could shift about a bit too.
PGI will then use this feedback to finally make some changes to the Awesome.
Of course we also vote on the other things they ask us.
Such as several alternative quirks PGI put forward to replace quirks that where confirmed useless or too powerfull in the previous feedback thread.
