I'm a bit worried though. Concerned™, you might say. Because this reminds me of when I saw the artwork for the Quickdraw. The Quickdraw was standing upright in the concept art with straight legs and it also looked amazing. When I saw it, I thought "Yes! That will be my next heavy mech!"
But then I saw the in-game model. And because of some animation concerns, PGI made its knees bent, like it's about to take little poop. Pardon my language. But it's always standing with its knees bent and it looks a lot more stocky than in the beautiful artwork. And if you use the jump jets, then it really squats down like it's about to take a massive... well, you know.
Same problem with Commando, really. Looks beautiful in the artwork, but way too squat in the game. On a positive note, they got it right with the Griffin, which was fairly straight in the concept art and also stands quite tall in the game.
TL;DR: Some mechs, like the Black Knight and the Mauler, look beautiful when they're standing with straight legs. Please try to make the in-game animations so that the walk cycle look good and the Black Knight can still stand with straight legs. Maybe even walk with relatively straight legs, instead of bending their knees and squatting too much.
Sorry, I know this is a very minor, specific issue. We all have our pet peeves.
