Clams will have high mounted hardpoints in abundance for that. Along with even more Jesus Boxes.

It will be nice.

The longest range hitscan weapons tends to work well with publicly released aimbots.

Well done diehard clammers.

Not sure if complaining about people using aimbots...or the IS having longer ranged lasers?

IS lost Tukayyid the second the queues were borked. It became inevitable on Sunday when the clan, having already hit their point totals, could focus in on winning instead of grinding.

No one won the Battle of Tukayyid, PGI lost it.

Honestly, IS quirks need a little more tuning for certain chassis, but the real issue is the Ryoken, Mad Cat and Loki mechs. Every single match had scores upon scores of magic jesus boxes wave after wave after endless wave. There was so very little variety, that I actually cheered when I saw a Vulture or Masakari on the battlefield. (I even secretly praised said players that brought other mechs for originality and making the matches more fun.)

And when you have a clan medium and 2 heavies that can actually outrun almost every IS medium mech, and every heavy mech, that makes for a very lopsided advantage where balance is the aim.

Granted, IS has an advantage with lights, but then that gets negated when you have Streak 36 boats going 90+ kph. One, seldom two, salvos, and you're already dead. Utterly ridiculous. There needs to be an exponentially increased cooldown penalty the more SRMs and LRMs a mech boats, and that includes IS mechs too.

Seriously, this game could definitely use a clean slate and start over.

Edit: Fixed IS designation of the Warhawk to reflect the proper terminology.

EDIT- I re-read what you typed and it seems that I misread what you were trying to say. I withdraw my comment.

Apologies

I wonder if we'll win on the counterattack? Cause then WE will be able to constantly gen rush

I find this insulting and trollish. Where's your empirical evidence? Where's your proof? Did you video any of this said "aimbotting" ... I play clan on my other account and participated heavily in the CW event and never used an aimbot, nor ever saw one being used.

I think you're just a sore looser poopyhead.

Basing a nerf just on who won an event would be foolish.

I've heard plenty of theorys, many contradictory. Some say clan mechs are stronger. Some say IS mechs are stronger. Some say Clan pilots are better. Some say IS pilots are better. Without more complete data to analyze they are just that, Theories. There's not enough data available publicly to really say one way or another.

A lot more data is needed to separate player skill, from mech performance, both from a more general standpoint of clan vs inner sphere, and even down to an individual level of specific mechs which may need some adjusting to keep them in line with other mechs of their class.

Well er that's great and all that but I don't see myself calling out every single clanner as an aimbotter. I have reported 3 players so far to PGI along with video evidence. Just because you haven't seen them doesn't mean they don't exist.

Sore Looser? I didn't drop once in the Tukkayid event. CW is a sad joke played only by those who want to extend their little real life penii into large e-penii. I'm happy enough with the size of my offline and online phallus thanks very much.

Never got to drop, I sadly don't have time to wait 30+ minutes for a single game.

I find this humorous as one of the most feared sights on the battlefield for clammers is the incoming slow march of the giant metal phalli creeping forward with their terrible blue beams of death and despair.

GG Well played

So obviously CLans are sooo OP they need another round of overnerfs and the IS are in such desperate need of a new wave of quirks and weapon buffs.

You DID call every single clanner out as an aimbotter.

Congrats to all those that played - Clanners and I.S alike.

Let's hope that PGI got a lot of data to crunch and that it will be used to improve the game in a number of areas that frequently (good and bad) get discussed on the forum.

Cheers!

So does this mean the reinforcement clans are on hold?
