It's not like we have any good options right now for a 75 ton mech. (Does anyone even use the orion?)

mech would be legit cool and good if it had a nice shield on the left arm and the hardpoints were slightly below the shoulders, on those big flat sections below/to either side of the breast bone

Didn't PGI tell you -- to boost sales the mech will come with

-50% Energy heat reduction
+50% Energy Range Increase
+40% CT armor
+40% RT armor
+40% LT armor

Those quirks will be reduced to the following when the mech is available to Cbills:
-5% energy heat
+5% energy range
+4% CT armor
+4% RT armor
+4% LT armor

You need to make sure you arbitrarily assign nerfs to clan weapons/mechs concurrently with Resistance 2.

I don't think the ERML produce enough heat.

To boost sales the mech will come with

-50% Energy heat reduction
+50% Energy Range Increase
+40% CT armor
+40% RT armor
+40% LT armor

Those quirks will be reduced changed to the following when the mech is available to Cbills:
-5% energy heat
+5% energy range
+4% CT armor
+4% RT armor
+4% LT armor
+50% Flamer Range
-50% SMPL beam duration
+100% Head armor

Man I love Btech and all that but what besides art and tonnage differentiate 3/4 of the classes in this pack?

The crab has hard points that might, potentially, actually make it good.

The crab also has a relatively low profile with a comfortable cruising speed and a nice max engine size. If its hitboxes look anything like a stalker it'll have nice torsos to shield with as well. Give it LL or LPL quirks and it might turn out to be a really good mech for its tonnage.

The mauler is a joke mech

If only Resistance wave one had quirks like the top example at any point in time.

four versions and not one is the MW4 build with the ballistics mount in the left arm? and no hidden laser behind blast doors? not to mention trying to work in both the classic and new design into MWOs clunky art style.....everything that could be done wrong here was. well, almost. hopefully those legs survive the the trip to 3D modeling.

i do. good 'mech for teamwork, very tanky and slow to overheat if you make a good build with the AC/10s, pulling up just behind a buddy makes the targets try to spread fire since they get rattled by the cannons in a brawl.

that's not the ridgehump-loving meta though, so nobody uses it.

We thought the tbr would be DOA because of the ears as well. I assume the missile hunches on the mauler will disappear without missiles equipped.
