In celebration of the release of the illustrious Mauler and in light of the Kuritan Battle of Tukkayid performance, I'd like to petition for the release of the Hatamoto as the Resistance II bonus mech.

Ultimately, the Hatamoto (which is divided into Hatamoto-Chi, Hi, Kaze, Ku, Mizo, Kaeru, Godai and Suna) has 8 variants at 3052 to choose from.
There's no reason to not have it.

Don't know about as part of this pack, or if I'd buy it myself, but I'd have no problem with it being in the game.

Mmmm.... maybe as a solo release, we've already got the breadsticks of 4 extra variants for each mech for the early bird, I don't want extra with my pasta, but if it comes out solo kewl, just make sure it has some unique paint to it, like urbanmech pack or something.

Including a top tier bonus mech (like the MadDog concept with Wave I & II) would convince me to upgrade to the full Mauler collection.

What we need are mechs that add something to the game.

Laser-vomit Wolfhound, Crab, Black-Knight do not.

The Hatamoto-Chi is probably a AWS-9M with one less PPC. Granted it probably has better hit boxes.

We need only mechs that add a dimension to the game. provide a loadout, quality that is different from what is currently available. The Victor, Zeus and AWS have saturated the weight class.

Since we only get 8 new mechs a year for IS, We already had the Zeus this year at 80 tonnes, and now Mauler at 90 tonnes. the next mech should probably be in the 85 and 95 bracket

The Hatamoto comes in laser, laser/missile and laser/balletic chassises...it's has the flexibility to find an assortment of niches, plus...it's so distinctively Kuritan. It will certainly stand out aesthetically...whether you like it or hate it.
