Signed. It would be an interesting mech and much better than the laser vomit mechs in the current pack. I probably won't buy the pack even if it included the Marauder, but I may buy Hatamoto once it comes out for MC.

Depends on your play style. Some of us use the chassises on the low end of a class to great affect. The key is not trying to run a battle-cruiser like a battleship.

Ideally, with logistics inbound in CW phase 3, utilizing chassises on the lower end of the class would provide certain resource and engagement cost benefits...if not to the player, then perhaps to the faction's ability to endure combat attrition costs for a region between re-supply cycles.

Frankly, such light Assaults might be a great way to utilize the IS tonnage buff, upgrading one large-heavy into a slightly better light-Assault.

This would be better as faction bonus variants/skins for customization. Being a bonus, especially to a mekpak is silly imo and out of place.

Hatamoto is a good choice - variants have energu, ballistics and missiles. Not to mention its also an iconic mech in the Battletech universe.

I like the hatamoto -- was hoping it would become an iconic 'loyalty point reward' unlock for kurita. but there are other mechs that can be used for that purpose. or even a special variant of it.

The Thug is one of the things that makes the Hatamoto Chi a waste of time. The Charger is another. The aesthetics of the Hatamoto are a third.

Of course I want this, my favorite Mech is the Hatamoto-Hi. A Thug's weapons mated to a Charger's speed is a perfect light Assault.
