Hi, I'm not a new player, but this seemed like the right forum to ask, so that new players could also benefit from your responses.

I recently bought a Protector. Now I need to buy another two Orion variants so that I can Master the chassis.

Which other two Orion variants do you think I should buy, and what loadout would you recommend on them?

Thanks in advance for your responses.

(To me, Orion M looks like a decent contender, with something like this: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...f30faf5e80ceaa0)

I'm looking at the ON1-VA with its four arm Missile hardpoints, thinking SRM4s or 6s.

I too bought a Protector during the sale, not yet sure for a third myself.

K with 4 ML and an AC/20 is my favorite.

I run my ON1-M like this: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...6a46073224ca48d
Stay out of the long range game and guard your team's assault's, in the brawl your crit seeking abilities will have you destroying components left and right.
I srongfly reccomend the TIG module with this build.

I went for K and VA pre-quirk. V was too similar to the Protector.

I ran my ON1-VA as a support. Fast enough to keep up with the front line where the Artemis IV can take effect, rain LRM on brawling enemy until either they die or disengage. Twin LL for defend and poking at exposed component.
*Originally had SRM in the arms but I am just terribad with rocketpunch aiming.
2x ALRM15
2x LL
XL 325
15 DHS

PROTECTOR is my Mini Atlas brawler. An extra AC20 is always welcome on the frontline.
1x AC20
2x ML
2x ASRM6
STD 300
13 DHS

XL Alpha Boat ON1-K, stay close to brawlers, dump alpha and move back into shadow or circle an engaged target and alpha the back.
Loadout is quite similar to the Protector but the XL engine offer more speed and manoeuvrability.
4x ML
2x ASRM6
1x AC10
XL 350
17 DHS

The ON1-VA used to be the premier heavy LRM mech nobody talked about. Then they nerfed LRMs heat scale gave us so much ECM and AMS you could choke on it and that went away.

ECM lights tend to not support their group and like to go solo, ECM Atlas is so slow you can shot off the ECM torso or even dumb fire LRM on them.
Ever since the Hellbringer arrived my VA is pretty much useless, they are tough, stick to group and move relative fast.

Been meaning to try out 3x ALRM10 with a NARC, but I have other mechs to work on unlocking Master.
