I don't know if this was said somewhere, but I would really like to see CW battles with more faction-appropriate mechs on each side.

Many mech types or variants are somehow connected by the lore to a specific faction.

Raven and Cataphract are for example Liao designs.

Others like Shadowhawk K are linked to heavy use by Kurita.

Why not giving each mech that has a distinguishable lore connection with a certain faction a bonus when this mech is used by a pilot of that faction in CW?

So, if a pilot is Kurita, and he takes a Panther into CW he will get a loyalty/CB bonus for that mech.

This wouldn't stop anyone from using any mech in CW, but could slightly encourage people to use different and faction correct mechs.

For mechs which don't have any particular affiliation with any faction, there would be no bonuses or no penalties - so no change there.

I for one really like this idea, but man would Steiner and Davion get a lot of good mechs as LP bonus mechs lol.
