Hey guys! So we have Smurfy to work with as a mechlab, but it is a bit awkward to use on a smartphone. I believe there may be a mechlab type app for android as well. EDIT: It appears the Android app has stalled in development. So I could conceivably do it for both platforms.

So my question is whether or not there is a mechlab app for smartphones? And if not, if I were to develop such an app, would people be willing to pay a dollar or two to download it?

I would prefer to do it for free, but it would be a nontrivial thing to do and would require enough of my time that could otherwise be spent working at various jobs that I have.

So does such an app exist? I didn't UTFSE but there were only threads from like 2013-ish, and I didn't find any evidence of such an app when I googled it. And if there is no such app, would you be interested in one being developed?

EDIT: I changed iphone to smartphone, since it would make sense to do it for both platforms if I do it at all.

Have never found one and I would pay $1-$2 for one.

Yeah I don't think one exists for iOS.

There is one for Android though, right? Or did I imagine that?

There was definitely someone working on an android app, but I couldn't tell you if it was ever finished or not.

Hmm. That makes me consider doing it with Unity using some of their new 2D tools, because it compiles for iOS and Android both, as opposed to coding something specific to iOS (since I have no experience coding for Android).

aweMech is pretty decent and still maintained. Last update was 2 days ago. It can even import/export smurfy links and its free with the option to donate.

See the google play link in the post above.

Nice. No need to duplicate that effort. I think I'm gonna play around with some code and see how much of an arse-pain objective C is... from what I remember it's not so bad.
