I downloaded the patch today and am getting this error when I try and launch the game. Help! What should i do?

Repair Tool. If not maybe reinstall.

Its an issue with necessary files for running in 64bit not being included in the distribution. It is a known issue that will be rectified in the next patch. You can launch in 32 bit mode for now or download the necessary files from Microsoft. This thread has the links as well as conformation by Alexander Garden.

check Microsoft.com and type that file name in. from what I remember, that file belongs to DirectX. If that is the case, just get the update from Microsoft's site. most of the files for 64-bit were never included when it came out and the direct x end user update fixes that.

Happened to me to. Update DirectX at Microsoft site and will fix this error.
