This thread is about your ideal mech package. Preferably, you should pick one mech of each weight class. If you want, go ahead and include a bonus mech. The mechs should be plausibly available in game. That means 3052 or very close to it. You can choose the mechs based on whatever criteria you want, funny, iconic, meta, etc. This thread doesn't have anything to do with Res. 2, just picking 4 or 5 mechs you'd like to see in game. Also, including links to the BT wiki is good.

Light: http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Javelin
Medium: http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Assassin.
Heavy: http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Penetrator
Assault: http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Pillager
Bonus: http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Hammerhands

It seems a generally popular pack would be: Javelin, Assassin, Hammerhands (Warhammer stand in) and the Cyclops with the Vulcan, Annihilator or the Hatamoto-Chi as a bonus.

A clan pack that isn't $40 more expensive than its IS counterpart for no reason...

Succession Wars Pack I:

Wasp
Phoenix Hawk
Rifleman
Warhammer

Succession Wars Pack II:

Stinger
Valkyrie
Archer
Marauder

Loyalty Mech: Rifleman (for purchasing both packs)

And for the Clanners:

Succession Wars IIC Pack

Phoenix Hawk IIC
Hunchback IIC
Warhammer IIC
Marauder IIC

Those are really the best options PGI has left to make them piles of cash.

And no, I don't mind if they have to do chassis-up redesigns on all of them. Cut Alex loose and get them in the game.

A mish-mash of IS and Clan. Call it...Who do I work for again?!? Pack.

Light: Cougar (stretch at 3056, but don't care)
Medium: Bushwhacker
Heavy: Champion
Assault: Cyclops

I'd pick all IS, but I really like the Cougar :)

Light Javelin
Medium Assasin
Heavy none left I want but I'd be happy with Hammer Hands
Assault must be the Cyclops.

I don't really want unseen, unless they look like the mechs they did back in the day, rebranding completely different mechs will just screw down my wallet tight, and i've such a glut of mechs now the only assault I have interest in is the mentioned one.

based on purely mech sales I'm running out of reasons to continue paying but not playing

Timeline and stuff aside:

Flea
Bushwacker
Warhammer
Annihilator

Edit: to remain within time line. If that wasn't there I want an Uziel and an Archangel

Firemoth
Viper
Night Gyr
Kingfisher

Finishes off the TRO 3050 lineup, adds another of the awesome 3052 era 'mechs, and adds no troublesome clan battlemechs.

Adds 3 new tonnage values for clan dropdecks as well as a true 75 ton alternative to the Timberwolf.

It would definitely cut down significantly on the Timberwolf QQ as well with 4 viable, competitive Heavy chassis being available.

Either

Hussar
Phoenix Hawk
Marauder
Longbow

For the mechs I'd consider cool

Or

Tarantula
Scorpion
Barghest
Goliath

for those delicious QUADS.

And an ala carte option that provides the pre order rewards when pre ordered

Also make the ala carte not ~price of two mech tiers.

Marauder
Warhammer
Archer
Rifleman (And no, the Jagmech is not the Rifleman)
PheonixHawk(for the LOL factor)

Accept no substitutes.
