Sounds like a good event.

What is meant by:

• DropShip integration into non-CW game modes (still under a 'single spawn' system)

Do they plan to put dropships over the spawn areas or what?
BTW bringing the drop deck function to the other queues would be grand fun.

Yeah I think that means that instead of just starting at a standstill around a point the mechs get dropped onto the map like CW, but no respawns.

Yup, I.G.P is why I don't crowd fund for gaming any longer, sad thing is, they close it, cut and run, and I bet half or all are starting up pulling the same crap, under a different company name

Seems so, I like the idea, but its one less reason to drop in CW, the Drop is the best part, and the only other reason is to grind out LP for free mechbays

Hmmm, perhaps you might be right DL, as a founder though I would say I do appreciate the gesture. Picking the map is a token gesture at best, but still a nice priveledge. Now basically this ->

Re: Mothers day - The last event (Tukayyid) was over our ANZAC day.. ..so yeah, they needs to plan the timing of these events a bit better..

And your last comment.. ..YES. More founders around would be great. I would love to know what % are still playing regularly...

That said, can't wait for free stuff & getting my name up on those leaderboards!

Founder reporting in - you know what would make this even better? If you guys unlocked the founders colors for us. There are colors that are -really- close, but no cigar.

Either way, you WILL see my Founders Atlas this weekend.

My Founder's Jenner is still in my top 3 favorite mechs in the game My Founder's Atlas is still lots of fun, as is my Catapult... Never did like my Hunchie though... it's really identical to all the rest, just has shutters on the glass o.o

I dunno about my co-founders... But Forest Colony gets my vote! That map has been a PITA to play since it went 12v12...

Agreed

There is a lot more that CW needs, players being one of them. I'd be more willing to put the time into it if more than a handful of groups played regularly, but that's a different matter.

Would love to drop a few but I'm getting this thing where the 64-bit client won't let me patch after running the installer.

I'll see if it works on 32-bit again but it's a bit tiring switching between my two operating systems.

I wish I did, too. I knew about the game, but I didn't spring for a Founders pack because... well, exactly why you Founders Packs for any game are almost always a bad idea. See: What happened to MWT founders. I'm always deeply suspicious that it'll end badly for you - either a total failure or much less than what was promised.

Now, for a really long time, I'd expect Founders felt exactly like the later - being given a pale shadow of what was proposed when they bought the Founders packs. Had I bought one, I'd not have been surprised or anything, as that's what I'd expect.... But at least now, we're about there.

I wish I had sprung for it. Anyways, too late now.

Still, I'm really happy they're doing something for Founders. Those people took a huge risk, at a time when Founders Packs where new, largely unknown. That's a big, scary step of hopefulness. Those people are the reason this game is here today.

So, props to a Founders Event.
