I would've like to have seen MORE Founders stick around than those that are only dedicated to this game.

Honestly, the Founder's 'Mechs have always been complete ****, so you didn't miss anything. The only reason I'm driving it this weekend is because I can't get rid of it. Might as well put it to good use.

I have my Founder's Atlas in my signature as the best example of an "OLD" mech. Happy to solo stomp, although I still haven't been on the new CW map...

While I am not a founder, I am very excited to read about this event, more so because of the possible development options with the revamping of the maps:

Dynamic time of day? Awesome. Will bring new conditions to each map to play under. Sunsets and sunrises, night matches on maps that didn't have them before? Awesome.
Weather? Fantastic. Rain? Fog? Snow? Storms? Bring it on!
Honestly, seemingly small changes like this is like adding a whole plethora of new maps.
Dropship integration into non-CW modes! I know this was talked about in feature suggestions so this is very exciting to hear to add that extra bit of immersion to these modes. Niiiiiiice!
Map Design improvements? Great. Look forward to seeing them.
Reactions of physical objects to collisions? This sounds very exciting and I look forward to seeing it happen in game! Note to all you founders out there. There aren't a lot of trees on Alpine Peaks and Frozen City. If you want to see more of this I think you'd have to vote for Forest Colony.

Great to see the team at PGI toiling away at improving all the aspects of the game.
As I understand that it is a small team compared to some other companies I also understand that it's smaller steps.
But each little update that introduces something new, fixes up some bugs and goes towards improving the game I heartily welcome and appreciate the efforts of everyone there.

Nice to see that there is a recognition made to the founders in this event, after all, it was they who got the ball rolling.
Regardless of which weekend these events are on, there is always going to be a conflict of some sort. I appreciate that there is something going on each weekend that I have the option to participate in.

founders was quite good $20 base entry got you a mech that in most cases is more unique then the champion mechs that come with mech packs now, you also got badges preamiam time and early access and we got to keep what we had earned. packs now are better but this was before many things were implemented and we got a few bits and pieces a wile ago.

I was looking at dark nexus $25 for the ground flour and all you get is early access and a forum/game avatar, for a free game you could get a few characters for that price in say LoL.

$20? The first pack with a mech was $60 and the cheaper pack without a mech was $30. The pack with all 4 was $120.

Me too and regularly drop every weekend for a few hours.

I still like tossing the Hunchie into the fray but The Wang beats it for my favourite Medium AC20 carrier.

To all those complaining about the obselescence of the Founders mechs, the CPLT-C1(F) is still very deadly in the solo queue.

I think veteran founders ended up being less than 5% of all the Founders. Hopefully they'll throw you a bone.
