Or let anyone for that matter participate in the same variants as the founder's mechs. You could even have a flash sale for the variants that are the founders mechs i.e. AS7-D. Make it C-Bill and MC.
I am aware this might be a hot topic for founder's so why not make a founder's only poll about it. All founder's, vets included get to vote how much we would like Vets and the general playerbase involved.
Personally, I think it can be only good for founders if people know what the founder's badges mean, I think a lot of people have forgotten or never knew. Gunning for that little founder's trinket will refresh that memory. And allowing more people to get it will shine a good light on us founders. Also, those that still play and/or support the game, are they not the foundation of this game and deserve a little reckognition as "founders" too.

Rest assured I will not vote for Alpine to be touched, much less have it reduced in size. I like Alpine. Let the scrubs and their like-minded lemmings go to Derp Hill. I will just continue to kill them from somewhere else.
Only thing i want done to Alpine is the SHRINK the big hill....would be much better! would stop 90% of people wanting to take it, would open the map up and would push the game play to be different then meet at the center and kill each other.

I mean, it is still in mech bay number one! And will always be! I have more than 100 mechs, but this one is still the most beautiful mech in the whole game. With the gamboge color you even get the old Beta look
So bring it on!

EVERYONE can participate in the event and get some nice rewards as per the personal challenge details.
IF you are a founder, you get the bonus items as listed in the personal challenge if you are not using one of the founder mechs.
IF you do use a founder mech, then you are INSTEAD using the Founder Leader board..... or is this an ALSO?
At the end of it. There will be a poll for any founder to nominate which map gets overhauled next, provided they win the points in the challenge.
If they don't, the devs will pick one anyway, so it's a nice gesture to those who made the early pledge and became a founder.
It seems that one of the points of the challenge is to get the old mechs back on the battlefield. Many of us have probably never seen them.
Matt, perhaps it could be an option to increase the rewards in the personal challenge for the founders. Cockpit items are nice, but perhaps colours, camo or one of the founder mechs?
Or even something for the future, such as a special decal for when that becomes available?
Unique camo?

I'd guess the personal challenge will be with every mech, so with founders too. So not instead, but both in the same time.
And increasing the rewards... I mean this comes down to "moar free stuff plz!", isn't it?
For the vet founders, they can at least get the extra items in the personal challenge, so there's that.
The only other thing I could imagine is that _all_ founders can use _all_ founder mechs for this weekend, but after the event they get removed. There would be no benefit for the gold founders though and I personally wouldn't use the other three ones, but that could be a way.

Oh this will be a fun event, though the amount of AC20 Hunchies will require alot of facetanking AC20 with little Jen-D(F) here...
Nice to be able to add little directions into the progress of the game.
Can the next event be for Phoenix members and include the return of collisions/knock downs?
Just because they might have never seen the glory days of MWO, they should get the chance to.
Maybe add a PTR event with a rollback client of CB?
PS: could we get the old Atlas' head hitboxes back for the event?

I'm personally looking forward to seeing them on the battlefield.
It will be great seeing many of them who haven't played in ages.
The rest of the community will be thankful after this special "Shooting fish in a barrel" event starts!!!
