So it dawned on me that this was a feature other people missed from UI 1.0
Surprisingly, we either forgot about it or something.

So yea, 4 readied mechs on the homescreen for hot-swapping mechs.
What do you guys think?

I love it. Personally, I'd like to go for a scrolling list. Sometimes I might have like 6 favorites or something.

It serves no purpose though...

You can select another mech anyway without this 4 readied mech's nonsense.

I can't describe anything tangible, but I miss this feature too. Somehow it was just nice to have. Not sure why.

I think its value increases the more Mechs you have. Hunting for that one next Mech in a sea of other Mechs wears thin quickly at least for me.

I'd go a step further and make it a customizable drop decks quick select list that allows for several player named drop decks. Whether the best place for it is on the home page or not, I don't know.

Yes so you can have Versatile, with one of each, Heavy, Medium, Missle and so on to your heart's content.

War Thunder does this with Preset buttons you could call anything you like (by default you get eight)

That could be really nice for CW, but maybe overpowered?

People who own a lot of mechs, either through experience or cash, could tailor each drop deck to a given map.Then swap the deck in a moment whe you see what map it is. Players with fewer mechs would have to use more generic builds and be at a disadvantage. The question is: How much a disadvantage?

Yes please.
Would make dropping a lot quicker.
Even up to 6 mechs would be great.
