The founders hunchie is not CW material, but great fun to run!

Three large lasers without heat penalty is nice on my founders Atlas.... But my favorite is still my Jenner-D. Not as effective as my Firestarters, but the lower profile and missile tubes come in handy sometimes.

I have been having fun playing my Founders Atlas and seeing eveyone elses Founders mechs, reminded me of good times in closed beta, but today some guy put me down for playing "like a noob". It was over VOIP so I didn't get his name. Kinda made me feel disrespected. I don't play all the time due to real life. I was off this weekend so I got to participate. I am rusty and almost 50 years old, it kinda bummed me out enough to post this. Just wish some people would settle down. It's a freakin video game and no need to be so disrespectful to the very people that funded this game from the get go.

I've had a couple good games in the old Atlas. Surprisingly. One real great game that was a nail bitter of a close game.

I was doing exceptionally well with my Hunchback 4G which I liked. What's funny is during the Tukayyid event I used the Founders mechs as my loadout. Call that particular loadout 'Founders Folly'

Yeah I don't want to spend to fix my Atlas, the Jenner is basically hopeless, and the Cat is terribad.

Rocking it with the -4G though, I heart my AC20 loving.

Ha, i have been playing drunk one night. And funny enough i do sometimes alot better when drunk.

My ego of a red eyed hulk gets a boost and i wreck steel faces all over the place untill i do something as a classic drunk guy terrible stupid and the next thing i am gone.

I don't drink much. But sometimes i like to pop a beer and get a bit smashed (not drunk, but smashed)

So far no standout games in the Jenner, just reliable 300-400dmg/match and ~1kill/5-8assists. I'm reminded again how much better the Ravens and Firestarters are, even though the Jenner has the higher alpha potential.

Until the Jenner has its hit boxes fixed its DOA, it just can't hang under fire.

You can do pretty well with hit-n-run, and evasive movement, but all it takes is 1 guy with ballistics and halfway decent aim to ruin your day.

Did get a round where I killed 2 people while legged though, that was kinda fun.

[edit] To illustrate the hitbox problem, I've been running with shaved side torsos, 15/10 spread. I've died to ST destruction once or twice only, I've lost my arms more often than that (full armor on those).

As someone who has not played an IS 'mech since CB I was shocked at how effective my 3 x LPLAS/AC20 Atlas is. I won 16 of my first 20 matches in the solo queue with a 3:1 KDR in a 'mech I had not played in since closed Beta so that won me over instantly.

Which is good, because I spent a shitload of C-Bills and GXP just to participate in the event in this 'mech.

Yeah I did splurge for new mods on the Hunchie

....but I really don't feel like spending on the Atlas -D
