I think the NARC warning indicator should be integrated into the general warning space so it's more obvious and that there's a greater sense of urgency.

>> CRITICAL DAMAGE <<

These warning could cycle every half second if you're affected by more than one. Additional audio cues beside Betty would also help, such as:



Disclaimer: I haven't been NARC'd since the patch, so I don't know if there is already an audio cue.
