My favourite training though is get in a dual gauss Yager and see how fast I can headshot everything in the Forest Colony training grounds.
It doesn't translate super well into the PUG queues, but it does well enough. You don't need it to be a direct hit to the face to scare the living crap out of an enemy pilot.
God, I love headshots to DireWolves. They sit there, so arrogant, believing they are lord of all that lies within a 45° cone in front of them.
Then REKT. They ALWAYS whine. And many lulz are had.

He means they're aiming at their feet already before they can even see the mech. I've seen it too - once someone got my leg that was FRESH and least visible - I was on a hill twisted so everything else was exposed first. No UAV and they were hitting it before I could even react to fire. It felt VERY fishy.

UAV's have been letting me do this a long time ago. And people -still- don't shoot them down.
I'm not complaining though.

I think it seems like it's happening more often because you're looking for it. Or it's on your mind and you seem to notice it more than you did before, because before, it just happened. It was part of combat and there wasn't anything to draw your attention to it.
It's nothing wrong, or bad, it's just what happens. You find what you seek.

Probably a good strategy against clans in general. Head hitboxes on many of them are positively ginormous.

OP is right, the claim is thrown around like so many rotten fish it's hard nowadays to play a match without seeing the claim typed or yelled over in game VOIP.
Lets be frank though, it ain't hard to headshot catapults, for the Lurm cat to stand still it's just begging for a headshot.

Apparently being in a Jenner using JJs quickly turn left and right... I use it more manoeuvring....
I was immediately told to stop or I would reported for using JumpJets as an Exploit !!
Was like.... SERIOUSLY !?!?

Of all the things people want to QQ about. Using JJs on a light !?!?!?

LMAO. Wow, I did not think the bar could be set any lower, but just when you think you've hit rock bottom, someone throws you a shovel.
What next? They'll complain about you moving, or shooting them?

ESPECIALLY the DW. And the MadCat isn't exactly hard to hit either.
I can't seem to get the hang of StormCrows though - but dual gauss to any part of a Crow will cause it pain.

Headshot twice in a row? Hmmm...
Headshot three times in a row? Smells fishy.
Lucky shots happen and nobody has perfect aim, so if someone consistently hits the cockpit of a moving mech, I get suspicious.

It wasn't that i was seen and fired on that made me think it looked abnormal, it was the combination of walking around a blind corner, tracking his guns on a target that was above and behind him, firing his UAC5 ammo and hit nothing but my left leg, now Im not standing still by this stage, and he didn't stop from his 70 odd Km/hr jager mech march either.
It looked wholly abnormal - either it is abnormal or guys is some kind of gunnery genius

The irony there is that JJs don't actually make you turn any faster in a Light. Go ahead, watch how fast you turn on your mini-map. What they do do...is slow your speed down and actually make you an easier target by releasing the control of the 'Mech for that instant. I love Firestarters trying to feather, only making themselves ripe for the PPC-blasting.
