To keep players interest.
Events and tournaments at least small ones should be weekly.
This would also help with keeping players playing MW.
As it is right now they have 1 big tournament, a lot of people are on, when it’s over everyone goes away.
Also, they should not be FOUNDER only. Or FOUNDER only rewards only rewards. This discourages new players, and they will go else ware, and play other games.

Yes, Yes, Founders like patting them selves on the back, yes you were a founder. Let’s have founder only day, or founders free day or founders this or that. Get over it its hurting the game. The founder’s cards are getting old. And it’s hurting the game. Money spending new players could not care less.

There has been precisely ONE even for founders... and we get nothing other than the opportunity to vote in a poll ( fine by me ) I have no idea what you're harping on about.

@Chapel: Not correct Sir. I think it is a god idea to make an Event for them and give em Bonus stuff during the challange...but CW is empty now.
(Founders also receive an additional Founders Cockpit Hanging Medallion of their Founder level.)

I am not harping, I am looking to promote the game more, founder exclusive, events rewards etc, turn off new players. They feel left out, at least some do. And we need all the players we can get.

And they paid for those items by buying in early and supporting the game.........just as the folks that bought the Phoenix Package did, and the folks that bought the Clan package did...........no need to whine because someone else got trinkets for spending money. Everyone playing this game had the same opportunities to spend money and earn content above and beyond what is available for free, choosing not to do so is a PERSONAL choice.

Edited to add: It also seems like they are doing a pretty decent job of holding "events", even if they aren't weekly, they are damned sure more prevalent than they were a year or two ago.

Pretty sure they had a regular event for everyone that missed founders right along side the founders event, or did you just not bother to actually read the event information and decide to go on a rant about it?

But.. They do have events almost every weekend. Or at least some kind of a Sale.

Lately its mostly been CW stuff but there have been plenty of Personal Challenges. Even this past weekend there was a Personal Challenge for all players.

And as far as I know, the Founders have only had one event for them, which was the one that just passed and they didnt really get anything special. Just a Vote on which map PGI is to remodel next. Something PGI was going to do anyway.

Before all the CW stuff I think it was the Adder challenge, but I dont remember what was before that.

So ya.. they do have events and sales and challenges and mech give aways and consumable prizes and c-bills and MC almost every weekend.

Now I appreciate the island cockpit item even more....

When people cry because I've been around two, three times longer than they have, wanting this game to gain the life that we all imagine it deserves, and PGI chooses to recognize that by throwing me & other founders a bone in an event that isn't even exclusive to founders...?

I really do feel like we're on an island.

Not speaking for all Founders, but I think you can go take a flying puck at a rolling doughnut on a gravel road. They have already had other challenges that are geared towards other unique portions of this game, ie mech class, faction etc., and this challenge, which I feel forced to point out INCLUDED rewards for all other players, is just another one of those.

Big deal.......we get to vote which map gets reworked first. They will still all get done in the hopefully not too distant future. Oh, and evidently we get a few more cockpit items too. Honestly..stop pouting/trolling.

I don't care about Founder-only stuff, but then again I don't much care about anything at this stage.

Suggesting tournaments and activity at this point feels silly. You know we wanted that couple years ago? Regular activity and tournaments to keep the community to busy.. to have a core to grow out from into CW and such. NOPE.
