how in the world is a STK-4N better than a TBR-A?
I really dont get it, please explain it to me...

I own both mechs, i have both mastered, i have multiple hundreds of thousands of excess EXP

Fact is, that my LL Stalker has a 56 dmg Alpha, and goes to around !!! 70% !!! Heat after 1 Alpha...
My TBR has a 61 Alpha, is more than 25 kph faster, has better Hitboxes, has a TC, can shield with his right side and i about 30% smaller than my Stalker, 3 CLPL in one high mounted shoulder... AND my Alpha only brings me to roughly 50%... The only drawback is that I have a slightly lower range on SOME Weapons...

So please, please explain to me how a STK 4N is better than that?

I actually dont even drop my STK anymore, because i feel THUD's are much more effective in a Weight/Performance Ratio...
But that is personal preference

So much falsehood in this post. Only the top two in that list are even worth mentioning. And yes the lights.

Anyone who thinks Stalkers and Thunderbolts are SCR/HBR/TBR/DWF worthy are joking themselves. The rest of the mechs (barring the lights) on the list are worse then Stalkers and Thunderbolts.

I played 95 CW matches for Tukayyid with 14 over 300 match scores and not one that didn't qualify. How did both of you fair?

Pure Clan whine idiocy, the only area where Clans dont completely overshine IS is with Autocannons, and IS pays a HUGE tonnage tax on those, and cant bring XL engines because it turns the mech into a literal glass cannon.

Its a revaluation!!!!!!!!!!!! IS pilots like Gas & yourself can't win unless its using the easy button. I public drop all the time in a IS mech with nothing but UAC-5s with an XL and no armor and regularly get top kills and damage its a challenge but SUPER FUN.

20 alpha , 208 points of armor , 61.7kph w/speed tweak , and has an XL engine and ITS A BLAST since the UACs get an extra 150m of range , 30% less jams and its not spread damage like my DW.

PGI would you please increase IS DHS to 2.0 from 1.4 and triple the armor and increase engine speeds by 30% too we must make the crap pilots happy.

I plan on it when my unit agrees to (a lot of stubborn members that don't want to bother with Clan mechs for lore reasons).

Not going to discuss this specific topic anymore. Tukkayid basically killed CW for me. Burned out due to repetative gameplay, and now I can only fight other IS. Meeh. Not fun. My solution..... Resistance Pack II, ORDERED. EH. No. Cancel that.. Not going to. No more cashfeed to the insanity. Vote with your wallet. As easy as that.

A mechanic that reduces Dropdeck tonnage the farther you get from your Capital world would be interesting. Making it harder for invaders and easier for beleaguered defenders.

Would love to pull this stat for you but I don't know how to find it. I do know that I did 48 matches (IS wait times) and qualified every single time.

Personally I think the motivation is just simply this;

There have been a lot of changes since the drop weight was increased for IS (new quirks, IS LL change, CW game mode alterations, new maps, number of zones changed).

It just makes sense to drop the base line to even keel again to see what difference it makes, that's all.

If it doesn't work out it'll probably get changed again.

One thing i can agree with you, the stormcrow with 5 SSRM6 with CAB, thats the perfect light mech killer... if you fire in chain fire. Besides that, no clan mech, even the timber wolf, cant match with the IS meta mechs.

There is a reason why clan population dont play CW anymore, playing against the meta is challenging, but enough is enough.

PGI needs to unnerf clan tech, put clan tech more expensive. If the nerf keeps like this, at least give the clan players the option to change engines, jumpjets and all that IS can get. Or drop down the massive quirks of the IS mechs!
