You know, I had no idea what the huge "high profile" banning was all about, but it's not hard to see what unit the person came from, now. Apparently they don't like the big black spot it's probably put on that unit's record, for at least a while.
It happens. It fades. People move on. Sadly, so do their screen names, which constantly change through various games and forums. One reason why naming and shaming doesn't really do much is because one minute they're "Throgdor the INVINCIBLE" and the next they're "Jackhammers McHulkfists".
That being said, PGI will not and should not expose the "explicit" ways they've uncovered cheaters for the reasons already cited. If you don't like it, read the EULA. If you don't like what you read, find another game to play with an EULA you do like . . . I'll save you some time, don't bother, because it's a standard item in any EULA that any use of illicit programs and ****(EDIT: a..i...d..s? Really filter?)/tools results in permanent banning, and all you need to know is that they caught you doing it, no questions asked.
