What's a good Spider, King Crab, or Atlas build for super-low FPS (it never goes above 8 while i"m alive, and generally stays at 2.5 to 3; once I die it jumps back up to 18-20)?

It's not my graphics settings; changing resolution or detail has no effect on the problem. I've given up on trying to fix it, and I'm burning Premium time.

i used to play with even lower fps than you, still earned some c-bills (honestly if not the spectator part i would be bored out though)

Was there a time, when you had more fps?

yeah, just last week. also, about 15 minutes ago it mysteriously cleared up, and now I'm getting 35fps or so.

Are you playing on a laptop? Standard laptop power management cuts down on the power it allocates to the CPU when not plugged into a direct power source (to save battery power). It should be possible to change those settings if you really want to play on the go, but just keeping it plugged in works wonders.

I play on a laptop myself and I go from 20-30 fps to lower than 10 fps when its unplugged.

Are all of your system fans functioning? If one was off balance or stalled out that could cause a heat spike sending the system into limp mode.
