Its the game engines fault it requires too much from a computer its not all your fault it gets slow its PGIs but they can't help it. I know your pain but they got themselves into this and they need to fix it so it plays decent across all decent PCs. By that it would be hard for me to explain but not something that has primitive graphics cards more like almost to the current generation but not really.

Other times, its I just have no idea what is going on, but yeah.. Drops from 90 down to 5-10 fps for a few seconds, then back to normal.
Generally speaking though, my framerate has gone up quite a bit in the last 2 patches even though there are these anomalies like that which keep happening.

Never had this problem before.
I support the game, spent hundreds of dollars on it and can't play. This is getting old.
I did the repair tool, blah blah blah. Why did it work before and not now.
When I exit the game and start again, it starts out at 60+ fps then drops to red zone in game.
It's almost enough to get me to quit this game (the onlly game I currently play).
Please fix this mess.
slide show warrior is a good description.

Ive had times when I knew I was getting attacked but could not see the enemy, then suddenly they appear standing right next to me. One of those times I found myself surrounded by Assaults so it wasnt like they could have snuck up on me. It was quite surprising.
It usually levels out if I restart the game though.
Edit- Ive also had times when my cockpit doesnt even show up

The past 2 patch have not impacted my FPS.

i7-2620M (2.7 Ghz, 3.5 Ghz turbo)
8 GB DDR3 ram, 1333 MHz
Nvidia GT520M, 1 GHz memory
Setting: 1280 x 720 resolution

I have seen these odd death lag spikes as well. Not even someone near me. I think, but not sure, restarting the game entirely helps.

Sometimes when I tab out, the framerate poops. This does the trick usually.

I found the same in firefox and I think it was Flash. I haven't had Adobe Flash on any of my computers for over 2 years now.

Same, oftentimes when somebody dies the game sorta pauses for a bit. Also, being very close range and trying to aim at the enemy tends to tank my framerate. It's funny because I swear it's only when I put my crosshair over them.
If it happens once, it happens again and again. Restarting game makes performance weirdness go away, until next time. I think I only get these issues when running the game for a long while.

Flash and FF have been really ****** up for a few months now. I don't know what's going on. Seems with every update to FF and every update to flash, things just get worse between them. Chrome works fine, but I don't like Chrome. FF in general has just been worse and worse since about 2009, so disappointing

Isnt real-time... really unadvisable? Or is it just a boogeyman thrown on the web?

I switched from DX9 to DX11, and gained about 20, lol. I thought there wasn't supposed to be much difference between the two? The trouble is, i've got all sorts of graphical and input wierdness in DX11. My hitreg seems to be non-existant. I know hitreg probably has nothing to do with it, but i'm a paranoid soul, so i'll probably switch back to DX9. Hmmm. What a rambling little story.
