Played maybe three matches in as many weeks. Solo que maps are so tired and the population so small all I get in my ELO is hardcore all the time. Not wasting my time and money in CW. The wait time are atrocious and I don't want to sign on with anyone then take a big hit when I don't like running with them.


At least finally they let on to the fact that the majority of so called top tier guys are really top hacks instead. That won't last long though when the see its a big chunk of lunch money they kicked out the door. It will be right back to exploit warriors again.

I might start playing again if they ever get around to decent maps and stop ignoring Solo que for fanboy mode.

I generally will see a person or two in most of my matches who I recognize from a) other matches or the forums or c) their group name

Essentially, either the few times I play are never at peak play times and coincide with these people's play times, we're all so good that we only get paired together, or the population playing at a given time is low enough to the point where one often sees the same people multiple times a day.

Bishop has often stated he has 2 accounts, you calling him a liar?
Wait, that probably is misleading, altho Bishop has 2 accounts, he has not stated he used both for the event..

I have two accounts, and during events where preem time was offered I would always log in with one then alt f4 out before redemption of preem time then log in on the other.

Always.

Since iv stopped playing and have not patched from the big pre patch repair tool weekend then I guess you can exclude me from the Tukkayid stats.

If you want to blindly assume that I am the only one who did or does this then go ahead.

They shouldn't go to steam yet. They need to massively improve the UI and fix the new player experience first.

Going to Steam before then is just going to permanently turn away thousands of players, with almost zero chance of getting them back later

The day after the Founder's Event was pretty bad. Couldn't find a Solo-Q skirmish match for a long time per queue. Logged-off in disgust a couple of times cause of that.

I dont think you have a clue about the kind of gamers steam caters for. On steam you can get a bunch of games for cheap the catch is you dont physically own them. However steam is such a huge success I dont see them going away for a very long time so I will get my moneys worth, and besides most of the games are not pay to have every single item a of the games are full games.

This mwo is not even half a game. It's still beta and people are dumb enough to still accept this as fact. 3 years...still in beta for every mode? People especially the old mechwarrior fans and new ones just dont seem that bright.

Why would anyone need an alt account? I've never done this before on anything. I mean it's clear bishop doesn't have much of a life outside this forum site so it kind of boggles my mind that he makes post using 2 different accounts...just for shits and giggles.

Most games let you have multiple characters on the same account, so you can you know play different factions, ie STO you can have a Fed and a Klingon.
I imagine alot of people have a Clan account and a IS one so they can play both sides at their will.

At this point you also can't prove him wrong.

However I can certainly say I've noticed the CW pop has dropped off. It also doesn't help so many pro units jumped into clan colors for the event, then most bailed afterward. IMO it seems the PUG's are giving up and pro 12-mans rolling the other team like some varsity team visiting a kindergarten gym class right before nap time.

In any case they need to have short & sweet events based on something other than match points. 3 Generator kills would be something, or maybe 5 savior kills in 3 games. Not easy, but focused & relatively grind-free.


Honestly if they put their focus into matchmaker effectiveness (factor in stuff BESIDES ELO, like ECM, meta builds, etc) and let the community build & submit maps, they'd be in a MUCH better state.

Why would you cast aspersions regarding the mental faculties of Founders? Quite clearly most of them have at least got enough sense to stop funding this travesty. I would suggest that it's the people that are still here and still buying the grab deals that readily match your description.

I have a clan and a IS account... I didn't even drop on my IS account for the battle. From what I heard and could see...wait time for IS players was horrid. Ummm... no thanks.

I only set up my clan account because of PGI stating several times, and then changing how things would work in CW. The 1/1/1/1 rule led me to invest in my first assault mechs, the Victors pre neg. quirks being removed, and that they said JJ mechs would allow players to jump over the gates to assault the gens quicker. So I dove in and bought and mastered my Victors, then they changed their minds on the 1/1/1/1 rule. I am a Merc at heart, and want to be able to jump right into either clan or IS if I so desire. As a Merc I feel that I should be able to go with what I want, when I want within reason.

As for playing both accounts to get all the goodies? Well, I don't know if anyone has noticed in the last several months, but it seems to me PGI is making the events way more "Grindy". During the Battle I played my Clan account because of the horrid wait for the IS players, but still only got the Warhawk, and gave up on the 50 points. No way I could of got both on both accounts, well unless I was willing to "grind" out none stop only taking time to sleep to get the points on both accounts. Once again, ummm, no thanks.

Meh...I was just bored. A little self-deprecating humor, if you will.

I bought every top tier pack up to (and including) the Invasion Clan pack...those whale days are over for me. Love BT/MW but can't continue to reward this endeavor like that until PGI does something to address things that have been swept under the rug for too long.
