Well I sat in a 10 man q for 15 minutes (probably 15 less than the other 9 people) waiting to fill a group last night before I just shut the game off and went to do something else.

Given that and the all around terrible population numbers recently can we make a list of units and possibly their faction that want to set up consistent CW fights?

Maybe it will even have to boil down to selecting 2 opposing factions so we can manually limit the amount of planets, then we can just rotate to another set after a few weeks. Big thing will probably be some units sucking up the c-bills to break contracts so that we can get organized across from each other on a single border so that we actually can have fights running through the day.

We unfortunately have another "PGI dev's aren't willing to dealing with this problem" scenario, so lets muster up and so we can actually have two sides going at it through out the day.

Kind of pointless to have CW, a low population of players, AND no coordination to be making matches happen.

I like this idea, especially with CJF, obviously. I know this weekend will be bad, given the Phoenix event going on, and I know my own unit is only dropping on CW sporadically since Tukayyid. Hopefully that'll change next week - I'm trying to drag them back, but that event burned a lot of people out. Especially with so little obvious reason to fight, poorly designed maps, little variation in missions...

I don't know, I think people are waiting for something new in CW to bring them back in; changing the color of the dots isn't enough.

I just want fights set up, sitting in q and reading the forums is incredibly boring.

Have no problem changing factions again and paying the million c-bills, we can probably even pester support to eliminate the 72 hour window because it's entirely foolish when no one is playing and we just want to set up matches for the few of us left.

The dots and planets? Who cares, they are going to reset it again anyhow when 4v4 comes out if not sooner. Let's just fight, get rid of truce non-sense and have battles.

If that is the case, why not just arrange fights in the group queue or via private matches?

I catch up on shows on Hulu, or go make dinner, or work on art stuff in 3DS, or...

I either dink around on different forums, download another game in hopes of finding something else that a developer actually works on, or hit log out and work on music since I can't have both softwares open at the same time.

Whatever else it may be though that people get up to, having so few matches even available to join pretty much makes CW pointless and their seeming lack of interest to actually try things to make it better is quite frustrating as a player.

Hopefully at the least we can get a bunch of the people left that actually still want to play it together so we can move around to set up some matches, because this game is starting to get insanely boring again.

I do college homework or watch Netflix while I wait 20 mins or more

I don't understand why they can't make it as quick as public matches in finding a match. I mostly do public matches now cause its more fun

There's a perfect solution already available: Private Matches.

Sadly its come to this. Keen to sort out matches but its BS we have to make it happen. **** is broken PGI help us play your game.

Because no one plays CW anymore.
I looked at the numbers during prime the last few days, and it was laughable. CW not being a good gamemode to begin with didn't help, PUGs getting curbstomped while all they got to hear was "git gud or git rekt, this is hardcore mode, join a unit or p*ss of scrub" did the rest.
The whole "this gamemode is so hardcore" approach was doomed to fail in a game that sorely needs casuals to boost the numbers.
IMO, the tukkayid event was the final blow, because a lot of guys played much CW and realized it's simply not good. The way MM worked during the event led pretty much to IS pugs sitting in queue for 40min, while clan pugs got crushed by 12mans all day long (due to faction number inbalance).
Designing a gamemode for a small miniority (iirc russ stated only 13.5% of the players even play CW) of an already tiny playerbase wasn't a good idea in first place.

I was playing with my unit (1stH) and some others from allied units this morning. We usually play CW, but we did regular drops today so we can get those darn 30 points.
Things should get better after these package-event things finishes

1. Private matches don't get people goofy **** to hang on the walls of their mechs.

2. Some of us actually like the concept of CW and want to play CW - unfortunately everyone is spread out. If we can organize a single border then we can set up matches all day.

3. Concerning 2 the map is meaningless, if you are among the people that actually want to do CW we just really need to pick 2 factions and set it up so the few hundred of us that are left can actually have matches.

My Unit WANTS to play CW but alas clams is no fun.
