NOTHING on fixing Hitreg/HSR....... classic PGI
(sorry guys... gotta pull your finger out your ar5e and fix it before getting any more founders-praise from me...)
As someone playing with a 300ms ping HSR is working fine thanks (for projectile type weapons)

Look, it's really simple. You have to balance at the highest level of skill or else the highest level of skill is just finding the balance holes to exploit. And at the top level of skill, lights are not a problem. OTOH, Direwolves certainly are.

Well-whined, clanners!
Maybe the Crows and Timbergods will get nerf-batted to some realistic extent, too?
I guess we'll find out when the missing quirk post shows up. Or maybe that post will be available in the Gift Shop LOL.

Russ has been tweeting his views about nerfing over the past week. No numbers yet, just indications of which Mechs he has in his sights.
He wants to encourage more Mech diversity ... because you can't sell lots of different Mechs unless they're all relatively competitive, I guess.

FTFY. It's all the same from a certain point of view.
Edit: Star Wars Quote.

Once again, why do we have to rely on RUSS BULLOCK'S PRIVATE SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNT to get information on Mechwarrior, the information should be on this website or game launcher, not on alternative social media sites and it is garbage to make anyone sign up for an account to learn about THIS GAME on twitter or reddit or whatever.... information regarding the improvements/fixes/new content should ALWAYS be first and foremost, found on the site of the actual product being discussed.... in other words:
http://www.mwomercs.com should have all the information NEW and returning players might need
http://www/twitter.com is a social media site and has nothing to do with MW:O
If you persist on making things so we have to go off-site to learn about THIS GAME, then you may want to put something on the home page, and watch your signups drop because people want info about a game on that game's website and not some clown's personal media
I am sick of this issue being ignored, PGI, stop this garbage and post ALL RELEVANT NEWS FOR MECHWARRIOR ON THE MW:O WEBSITE.....

I don't feel like I should have to go to a twitter account to find out the info either but, Russ isn't necessarily the one who writes all ISN posts. He's not going to put out an ISN post each time he thinks about changing something in the game but he does care and does post his thoughts on twitter so people who want to stay completely up to date can follow him and see what hes thinking about, give the guy a break. Maybe him coming back from the weekend early and putting his boot in the ass of the person who wrote this last ISN post for messing up "this designated post" link and being lazy with their copy paste skills is in order.

I play both Clan and IS Mechs.
Clan has two OP chassis. IS has some some OP variants.
I enjoyed being able to play IS Mechs for a while that performed up to the level of my Storm Crows and Timbergods.

We have direct access to the president of the company who is approachable and welcomes direct communication. You should be thankful...
Oh, and the year is 2015, not the 1990's...

It is on the website.
It is just his personal twitter and he lets things slip when answering posts sometimes.
Takes 10 seconds to look at it anyway, dont need an account, posts are only 140 characters long so very short and to the point to skim through which is why he looks at that on his phone and not tldr rantings here.

For me too, at 80ms. I don't deny there are problems, but why those problems exist is complicated because there're not easy to replicate. I know from my perspective, it looks like there is no problem at all. I suspect it looks the same from PGI's end, so it's pretty hard to figure out what causes the issues for some.
This makes it a lot harder to figure out what the cause of the problem is and how to fix it.

Yup. News is always posted here. There are tidbits of info on Twitter that aren't here - largely insights into what Russ is currently thinking of, but formal news is always here at the same time as everyone on social media. The things on Twitter are things that don't warrant forum posts, that aren't really "news". There are sometimes looks into specifics of what's happening soon, but 99% of the time that's just Russ answering questions.
Why is Russ entering questions on Twitter instead of forum posts? Easy answer. He can get Twitter messages easily while out and about in his daily life, and respond easily on his phone. Logging into the forum, doing battle with the forum post editor on your phone, it's a pain in the ass. Twitter is more immediate. Also, the character limit of Twitter forces people asking questions to do so briefly, and only expect brief answers. Most of the time, Russ's Twitter interactions are happening on his own time, or while he's working. It's extra communications, over the top of everything else. People seem incapable of presenting ideas concisesly, and forum threads quickly bloom into huge time consuming reads full of everyone's personal manifestos (we do it, too, all of us)
Finally, there's a different level of expectation: Anything they say on the forums is taken as a set in stone promise(and frequently thrown back in his face), while what Russ says on Twitter is what he's thinking at the time and nothing more.
