Fan art is a bit different than miscellaneous random mech art.

I believe it deserves its own category.

I'm not sure if you've encountered these before, but Concept Robots and Nuthin' But Mech are great sources of pretty robots. I generally have a window or two filled with tabs open from them when I'm designing.

Some samples: (most of these are pretty big and autoshrunk by the forums, so you may find opening them in a new window to be the best way to feast on their awesome)
