It's a good battlemech, I prefer to pilot the 9S.

This sale goes back in time to Tuesday 20th, 2014. So now you know!

I really hope they do this stuff intentionally for giggles, or else you'd think it would be pretty embarassing since it happens every other announcement.

Well we here in Canada are just coming off a holiday/long weekend so I guess whomever posted this is still recovering....still makes you wonder how long it will take until the notice the error.

Yeah I mean it's one thing if it happens occasionally, but by now it's become a mini-game to spot the announcement typo since it's close to a 50/50 thing if the guy responsible for it will fail once again.

Just as I'm looking for ideas on what new assault mech to master... old personal favorite on sale could be tough to resist.

And this is why I don't trust what they say, and rather trust how it works... :P

Lol! I once reached 250 kph in a nova while glitching through the glass area on a building on river city... So I think I have gone the fastest in the game so far. ;)

(This is for reals I was not moving but my speed-o meter said 250)

Zeus is a rock and I love it. If you got spare MC, grab it. Definitely worth it.

Why playing with the Zeus, when you can have a Stalker or an Atlas ??

Yeah, it's cheap - but i wanna have fun playing MWO...

Because neither of those mechs are as tanky as a Zeus.

I was trying to talk myself into starting a set of Stalkers, but I never really liked them much (even though the MWO version is 100x better than the original). Zeus on the other hand has nostalgia, as I always liked the look of them and generally prefer faster mechs over the big stompy 100-tonners. I still cry at night (OK not really) because I missed the golden age of the Victor, my favorite mech. It wasn't in the game when I first played, and seemingly got nerfed pretty good by the time I started up again.

A guy in my unit stuffed, I believe, three LRM 15s in the Zeus 6T's right arm. It looked a missile loving mace!! If melee combat was engaged...... I have the R1 pack, but I haven't used the Zeus yet. Should be fun.

Messing around with the missile hardpoint was the first thing I did with the new mech. Adding a second launcher adds a half-ring underneath the main one, and adding a third wraps around the top. Three launchers gives him a pretty hefty club-arm. You can cram a surprising amount of tubes in there (max 20/15/15 theoretically, though you can't actually fit those launchers into the critical slots).
