I'm curious how many people have got 2+ headshots in a single match before, and if it was a PUB or CW match. I'm curious how many headshots raw skill can get in this game.

I have gotten 2 in a pub match. Both on purpose. Most times it is by accident. Just the other day I snapshotted a flying spider and nailed its head with 2 erppcs.

I'm sure that the absolute maximum in a non-CW match is 24. 11 TK headshots, 12 enemies, and killing the last while running your override and popping your own head.

Myself? I've never gotten more than 1 in a Pub match. Favorite was when a Hunchback was running circles around me and I was just thinking "oh man, I am so dead" and then on his second circle I managed to hit him square in the head.

As for CW, I've gotten 2 in one match, but that was in my dual-Gauss Warhawk, so it makes a little more sense that I could pull it off. Shoulda taken screenshots of that one.

I once head shot a firestarter that was about to shoot my cherry red ct.

It's usually just one and it's when that Catapult or Timberwolf decides to stand still and shoot me.

I think I got 2 in a single solo queue match on Catapults before the hitbox was shrunken down. That was some time ago. Catapults are fairly uncommon these days.

Just two in a Pub match 3 weeks ago - BJ from a half km distance, and then MystLinx, running circles around my Gauss Crab
But the most funny was a couple of days ago, in duall-Gauss jaeger. It was a DireWhale, trying to take highground in the middle of Collective, but cought two slugs in head instead. I didn't even notice that - that fight was really hot atm, but later scream "Nice hackzz, aimbot s**t" made my day

Three December of last year in solo queue... went from 5 to 8, would explain why those TBRs dropped fast (was piloting the laser vomit TBR-Prime, going for the master slot).

I'd rate it a 5/10. Overall, it's spectacularly awesome, but the vitriol thrown at you in Chat, over voice and inn private messages isn't worth it, lol.

I went through a phase where I would run through the training grounds, and only take headshots. A miss meant a restart. After a while, you get pretty good at it, but you REALLY have to concentrate in most matches (and get lucky - both with the hits you dish out and with weathering the more accurate return fire as you squint at pixels with your tongue out). The muscle memory to aim at center of mass is deeply ingrained, at least in me.

I did 5, in a pubqueue match. However, the fifth was a teammate atlas, guy I was grouped with at the very end of the match, and he was standing still, chatting in VoIP.

This was shortly after the heavy metal's release, with gauss + 2 erppcs.

The 4, though... Luck, more than anything, though at the time (before gauss charge, highlander or ppc nerfs, etc) I ALWAYS aimed for cockpits. 35 pt alpha means one shot, one kill, and a miss just meant a nice solid ct hit.

Its WAY harder now that PPC's are so slow, gauss charges, jumpjets shake, etc.

So true Kiiyor,

I have always been a shoot at the CT unless something is showing red type of guy.

In the last week I have decided that it would be a good challenge to force myself to shoot a little bit higher with my LPLs and see what happens. 3 head shots have been the result.

Definitely need to get out to the Training Grounds and have a proper go at it.

back in closed beta where 4 ppcs would not overheat you, i blew out 4 cockpits from 4 catapults as soon as they shutdown.
