Reward Adjustments to Factions effective immediately.

The Clan home worlds have bolstered their resources and are pressing their front lines harder.

ComStar News Bureau Agents are confirming reports that changes to reward structure are being implemented by the following Factions.

So HK gets reduced after a large portion of its mercs have already moved to steiner and frr? Makes sense...except that they also got reduced and clanners got increased. Guess we're going to see another section of clans smashing IS now.

this will not bring back anyone PGI. revert your quirks on the TBR and Stormcrow that or fix clan Uacs

I love how this doesn't fix any underlying problems of CW. Shift the Mercs to Clans, and see what happens!

Rewards as a whole are very poor for CW and now with maybe 100 people all up playing CW it takes hours to get an actual game. If they increased all CW rewards by a factor of 4 (from listed above) they still may not be able to tempt people to play CW.

Shows PGI has no clue!

75k difference when you pull 600,000 on even a moderately good game isn't a lot of temptation

why are you bolstering one side of the main "Invasion" while neutering the other??

sorry pgi but giving clans a slight cbill boost in cw when hardly anyone plays it isn't going to make up for your stupid quirking of the best clans in the game hands down.

Don't agree with these adjustments. Yes mercs will go to where the bonuses are higher, but that just shifts the issue - that there are not stable populations for each of the houses and numbers are evidently disproportionately weighed as well as being limited in some factions.

So once the bonuses go, the mercs will too and the clans will again flounder.

It's like falsely boosting an economy - a band aid fix to a more endemic problem.

PGI ought to stop trying to shift the issue and fix it instead by bolstering the CW population.

- More competitive planetary conquests
- Limited number of planets up for contention (were on our way there)
- Varied game roles (there is more to the universe than giant gauss guns)
- PUGS, PUGS, PUGS. Sorry fellow groupies, but you want a deeper experience then CW needs to at least have an element that is PUG friendly. You can't run CW on just groups alone when they do not provide the numbers to make it a sustainable component of the game.
- More objectives, bonuses for attack lanes or reasons to attack a planet that might say for example benefit all of a houses players e.g. take these planets, CW players get 10% c-bill boost for suceeding, while regular players get say 2% in general, 5% if they partook etc etc.
- Random events

Edit:
- Run week/fortnight long events where if factions reach a goal they get a significant bonus e.g. 2mil per player, 500k for a fail (just so it doesn't suck so much). Idea adapted from JagdFlanker, post #21. This could be anything from recapturing x amount of planets to defending x number of planets or even just one.. ..its all about objectives and MAJOR rewards!

It's amazing that on a Tuesday PGI neuters the only 2 chassis and build types that make clans competitive in CW, and on a Wednesday they're trying to add incentive for players to join back up with the clans without competitive mechs. That's vastly more asinine than I though PGI was capable of.

give enough compensation and incentive to play cw win or lose and youll see a resurgence of players playin it, now its just not enough and just a waste of time

this reward adjustment does not help. the quirks mania already kill the clans.

I really cannot see how this is going to help CW at all - for all Factions.

Generally CW is a ghost town during my gaming time zone, action for IS Factions bordering Clans is going to be less rewarding, long wait time to get in a game which may end up being a ghost drop, and I can make more CBills basically PUGing.

Less IS Factions providing groups for Clan attacks will just make it boring for Clan players as well.

And, I don't care about what colour those dots are on the screen. All I want to do is enjoy CW drops and get some rewards for it for the time it takes to play this game mode.

Give greater incentives for all Factions (some bigger than others) and maybe you will get more players in.

I try to post positive replies but this announcement just shocks me.
