I'm throwing money at the screen, but nothing's happening!!! :o

Not sure that the Crye engine can scale in the same way that the Unreal engine does, but if it can, a single-player Mech Commander game based on MWO art assets would be AMAZING. Day one purchase, guaranteed!

Hoping like hell we see something like this.

To go with this, how cool would it be if MWO had a commander mode whereby a drop commander used a Mech Commander style interface to control a deployed team inside of MWO? That would be incredible for team play...

Because you have never been to the MechCommander section of the NGNG forums?

Might be interesting if they did a Mechcommander in the same fashion as the Total War series. With planets instead of provinces. Space instead of the oceans. Build up your faction and carry out invasions.

I like story. But I like empire building more. :3

I was playing Shogun 2 last night and thought this exactly.

What I they made the pve component of MWO a sort of MW5/MC3 hybrid? Pilot a single mech but also have lots of tactical gameplay.

I already sent Harebrained a message of what I would like.
After seeing vids of Shadowrun, I asked for the first true RPG where you play both in and out of the Mech. Closest was Crescent Hawks. When you get in the Mech, it could switch to a MechCommander type game. You can control you and up to a Lance/Star then add multiplayer.

I always wanted to command people like that.

I could see it being 6v6 with each player controlling a lance of mechs, that they customize like our current system.
could lead to some really big epic battles.

As much as I would want a solo campaign MechWarrior game, most likely it would be a new MechCommander game so as to not step on MWO toes.

Still, I liked MechCommander back in the day. If it was a MechCommander (Single Player) game, I could get on board.

Oh my ***** god, I would LOVE a Grand Campaign of Mechwarrior. Total War SHogun 2 and Napoleon are some of my favorite RTS games cuz I love long ass drawn out campaigns. And a Mechcommander style interface and game base+ TW grand campaigns....I would die old and grey still playing that game.

In this video it's just the aerial view of normal River city lol.

However this was when it still had the urban-legendary Destructable tree at the park and the Kerensky statues.
(I may add that I didn't make this video, just not a lot of people know of this very nifty video, just posting it)

The year is 3015, but they're using an Atlas variant from 3050. I always thought that was funny.
