There is not enough players to fill the already present clans.
If you want to add addtional clans, it would be logical to start with remaining invading clans, i.e. Clan Steel Viper, Clan Diamond Shark and Clan Nova Cat.

1. Clan Blood Spirit was unique in that it was named for an ideal rather than a totem creature.
2. Smallest and least known Clan.
3. Has closer bond with its civilian caste than any other Clans.
4. Follows Kerensky' teaching without modifying it, unlike all other Clans.
5. Merchant and laborer caste members received rudimentary weapons training to serve as a militia in times of need--unlike any other Clan.
6. Blood Spirit warrior training was toughened to the point where it produced fewer but better warriors than in any other Clan.
7. Only Clan that attempted to create the esprit de corps that bound all Clans. Too bad other Clans' politics smashed that idea.
And finally...
The Grand Council, in arrogance, gave their decree:
Blood Spirit, you must conform to the Way of the Clans.
You have strayed from the Path; we will lead you back.
The flash of the blade, the striking knife, the traitor's stab!
On the Path our step is true, while the other Clans falter.
We held out our hands, in the spirit of Kerensky's Dream,
And our brethren chose to treat the gesture as folly.
Isolation's embrace, we forsake all and live for the future.
The Remembrance (Clan Blood Spirit)
Basically saying "up yours" to mainstream Clan's way of life. So hipster.

But realistically, NO. We actually need less factions, not more.
I would rather dilute the player base due to more playing modes (Stock, Solaris) than the artificial separation based on tribe affiliation.
I rather they have "periodic" event-based affiliations. Tukayyid showed that concentrating players into fewer territories = games are easily found. Having more clans and borders means more difficulty locating games.
And my actual favourite clan is Blood Spirit. I admire what they stand for and how they go it alone if necessary.
I know its hopeless to expect the "Stooping Hawk" to appear.
Alternatively, though not possible, if I could pilot the Savage Coyote and Rabid Coyote with Coyote Clan's entry, I would
On Clan Macleod, the only way to stop that "Hero" mech would be a headshot. :-)

Like I said what's got to do with being a Hipster? Hipster's to my understanding do what they do to thumb their nose at the establishment. Not because its the right or wrong thing to do.
