Hey all, not sure if you guys have seen this already but catalyst posted this on tumblr a few days back... On the cover of interstellar operations there is what looks like an unseen battlemaster. With a few noticeable differences (Placement of the torso lasers, different gauss rifle.)

What do you guys think? Is there a possibility we'll be getting the unseen back anytime soon?

Personally I'd say no, just because other classic mechs like the timberwolf have been redesigned for covers of publications. If we were able to get back the unseen I think we'd be able only to get the unseens from Dougram, not macross.
But hey, we can dream right?

I honestly think the unseens are terrible looking and the reseen variants are superior. For example the MAD IIC

The Combat Manual Mercenaries shows a Warhammer, Marauder, Griffin and (maybe) Thunderbolt, all unseen.

Would be interesting to know the reasons/facts behind this.

Neither the Thunderbolt nor the Battlemaster are Unseen mecha. Why? Because Harmony Gold does not have any of the rights to the Fang of the Sun: Dougram anime/manga franchise.

no they are unseen but for a diferent reason after fasa lost there cat fight with HG fasa stopped using the mechs from dougram in case dougram came state side to protect them selves from further litigation
