You knew this was coming, but there's no associated event AFAIK yet.

It's unclear whether it is CW or regular matches...

So... what do you think?

90% sure it's solo queue. The Invasion mech event was CW based because the Clans needed a strong incentive to start playing CW again. Before the CW event the Clan were hardly invading the Inner Sphere, just struggling at some very distant periphery borders. To hold an IS based CW event would just undo all of that.

And besides, you can't really make a lot of different dropdecks with just 4 ® variants (whereas the Clans had 13, which were omnimechs to boot).

Lastly, the 20 points challenge seems to be in line with the earlier solo queue challenges (founders and phoenix).

Doesn't look like it is CW actually. Cool, we can stay CJF :D

There has been a lot of chatter about CW burnout with Tuk and the last event.

I think a lot of players will be happy for a Group/Solo queue challenge weekend and PGI likely knows that.

Cheers!

I'll probably end up pulling out the Enforcer... it's the least bad (although the Zeus an honorary spot in my book for its Resistance variant).

I have decided I quite like the Resistance Zeus.

I was already planning to grinding finishing mastering out my remaining Resistance 'Mechs prior to the fourth variants dropping in June, all my Grasshoppers and Zeus past elite with some almost mastered out, so solo queue challenge appeals.

Honestly, I don't really care which one gets a champ first - so I'll probably cycle through the variants instead of sticking with just the special Res variant.

What if it were both? With a reduced cw req due to the limited mech choice.

It is Solo-Q and group queue only.

I think the Cameron Warhorn for the Resistance owners is a nice touch. The Kickers Warhorn for the average Joe is not a bad one, except its looks.

I'm really wondering what the top scores are going to be. The resisance mechs are some of the worst mechs i own.

Hurray! I'm totally uninterested in Champion mechs, and that means I don't need to worry about actually using the ® variants which are pretty much all the worst of the lots! Woohoo!

Will this be the first one of these that we don't hit the kill counter? I'd laugh out loud, for reals-like.

Can't decide between the Panther, Zeus, and Enforcer. I think I'll do the Panther or Enforcer, and right now I'm leaning towards the Panther. For some reason I always maul people in my poptart Panther setup.

I see lots of people laughing at and downing the Resistance mechs but to be honest they are good solid mechs, There is not one that I can not average 800 ~ 900 DMG. I find them fast, nimble and tanky. What saddens me about them is that as a medium pilot I dislike the Enforcer the most and hope it gets some love, it is no YLW.

There are no bad dogs just bad owners.

TBH, it's less about the Resistance mechs, but the Resistance Variant involved.

I dont believe this one bit. Just compare the atlas to the battlemaster score on the last two events.

The battle master owned the atlas

The griffin 1n almost got beat by a locust! lol

Some mechs are better than others. We will be able to compare these resistance mechs soon.
